Today was a super exciting day! It started with my very loud alarm clock going off in my room at 4:30am! It's a good thing Mama heard it and came to turn it off because I didn't know what to do! Then she let me come to Daddy and Mommy's bed to go back to sleep. But, we couldn't go back to sleep. Mama and I tossed and turned until 6am while Daddy and Finny just snoozed away...BUT when we all got up later we got ready and Mama took us to see Daddy at his work in Washington, D.C.!!!





It was so much fun going to see Daddy. We got to go to his office and see his friends. We went to the secret tunnels under the Capitol and Kai even got to ride on the train with Daddy. Daddy took us to the Dirksen Cafeteria for lunch and that was very loud and exciting. We had such a good day. We love going to Daddy's work.

Today we took Kai to school and then Mommy and I headed out to the stores. We checked out plates at Pier 1. It was totally boring but it sure was fun watching Mommy squirm when I tried to kick things from my stroller. Needless to say, we weren't at that store very long! I was so happy to pick Kai up at school. When we got home it was sunny and warm on our front porch so Mommy let us play outside for a little while. We had lots of fun and Kai and I played really nicely together. It was a really nice day!

Today after breakfast we headed to the library to return all of our Thanksgiving books and to get some new books. We got books about Christmas and books about Hannukah and some books about colors and animals. I can't wait to read all of them!





After the library we went to Grandma and Granddaddy's house. We read some of our books and played with toys and even got to watch Madagascar 3. That's Kai's favorite movie right now. Then I took a little nap and then even Kai fell asleep on the couch. We had a lot of fun hanging out at Grandma and Granddaddy's house.

Today it was back to school for Kai. So Mommy and I dropped him off and then went to run errands. We went to Montgomery Mall to look at boring old plates and other things I have no interest in...But at least it was just me and Mommy and that was pretty fun!

               

I had fun at school today. We learned about Advent and we learned the song "Jingle Bells". It was fun to sing. I got to see my friends that I haven't seen in a long time and Mommy even said that they can come over to my house to play with me soon! I'm excited about that. When Daddy came home we had a big dance party and raced around the house. My favorite things to do!!

                

This morning we all got ready and headed to Granddaddy's office to wish him a Happy Birthday!! I drew him a beautiful picture in his card. We got to run around the office and play with the monster truck that was in Granddaddy's office. We got to see some of Granddaddy's co-workers and we got to draw on his papers. It sure was a fun visit.







After we left Granddaddy's office we got to run around and jump in the leaves outside. It was a very nice day out. Then we headed to Costco so Mommy could do some shopping. Kai and I were very well behaved and we were really happy because there were lots of samples out so we got to taste test lots of fun stuff. We even went back for seconds. No one seems to mind when you're a really cute little kid! We did a lot of running around today but it was so much fun!

Today was another really chilly day outside. Nobody wanted to go anywhere. So we spend the morning being lazy. I got to watch the movie Cars 2 and Finn took advantage of Daddy's warmth and took a nice nap on his lap!

               

                

Later Daddy and Mommy decided to get the yard raked so we got to bundle up and head outside with them. I helped them. Kai just jumped in all of our leaves. He also did some rough housing with Lucy. Later Mommy made me come inside because it was getting too cold. I really didn't want to go in but my hands were like ice and my little nose was running. Kai got to go out to the back yard with Daddy and work on the leaves and acorns out there. They didn't come inside until it got dark!! It's a good thing Mommy made warm soup for us for dinner!

Today when we woke up in our own beds it was cold and windy outside! Mommy and Daddy decided that we weren't going outside until we had to. So, we had breakfast and played in our play room and with all of our toys all around the house. We even read some books and relaxed in Mommy and Daddy's room. Even Lucy relaxed in front of the fire because it was so cold outside. We sure are missing that Florida warmth and sunshine!

                



                 

After nap time we headed to Nana and Papi's house for Thanksgiving Round 2! Nana made a super yummy dinner for all of us. Our Great Nana and Papa were there. And our Aunties and cousins were there too!! It was so much fun. We got to eat dinner and have desert and play with Papi. We got to roast marshmallows in the fire place and Kai and LoLo even got to talk and play and sing into the microphones. We had so much fun. We didn't want to go home but it was way past my bed time and I was so sleepy and grumpy. It was a spectacular night. We can't wait to see everyone again soon!!

                





                

Today we had to say goodbye to Florida and the warm weather for now. It was time to head home to Maryland to see our Lucy and our big house and the rest of our family. And we were so excited because Nana and Papi were coming to pick us up from the airport!! Mommy and Daddy were nervous that Finn wasn't going to behave on the plane but today they lucked out. Finn drank his bottle and he fell fast asleep on Daddy for the whole flight. He sure was a good little brother. I got to put my headphones on and watch some Mickey Mouse Club House. The flight attendant even gave me some Animal Crackers. Mommy and Daddy said I am always a good boy on the airplane.

                 



It sure was a great trip. And it's also good to be home!

                

Today was a very special day because it was Thanksgiving!! We have a lot to be thankful for. I was especially thankful for the beach and the sand and all the fun we've had all week with Grandma and Granddaddy. It has been a super, duper fun vacation. Plenty of sunshine and warm weather. Today I got to play on the beach for a while. It was a beautiful day and I met a friend named Owen. He was 3 years old also and his birthday is a couple of weeks after mine!! We made sand castles and played by the shore. Even Finn came down to play in the water with Daddy.











Later Daddy decided to walk me home from the beach so that I could take my nap. And boy did I nap! Then Kai, Mommy, Granddaddy and Grandma left the beach and headed home to start cooking our Thanksgiving meal. Kai got to help Mommy and Grandma cook. Then we got to watch football and play and make lots of noise and get in Mommy and Grandma's way in the kitchen while we waited for dinner to be done. 







It was worth the wait because dinner was delicious and it was even better because we were all together. We missed the family that wasn't with us this Thanksgiving and we hope they had a great holiday and dinner too. Ours was spectacular!

Today was an awesome day! It was a bright, sunshiny morning so we got ready nice and early and headed to the beach. We went on an adventure to the lagoon and we dug in the sand. We had such a fun time at the beach today.











                

               

At the end of the beach day we ran to Pinchers for happy hour then we went to Charlie's for dinner. They had a really cool aquarium there with some very interesting fish and starfish in it. We had a super, duper, yummy dinner and we also had a ton of fun. It was one good day in Ft. Myers Beach!
