Today I am a FIRST GRADER!!! I am so excited to start school and see all my best buddies. I didn't even make a stink about my uniform or my shoes or any of the normal gripes. This morning I woke up without Mama having to wake me, I got dressed, brushed my teeth and was ready to go! We met at the basketball courts to meet our teachers, Mine is Mrs. Birk, hear a quick prayer for a good year from Monsignor Smith and some words from our principal, Mrs. Wood. Then it was off to our classrooms. Mama, Finn and Jax picked me up from school today. It was so great! We got to each have our very own desks. We got to put all of our very own school supplies in our very own desks and we even have a smart board in our classroom!! And Mrs. Birk told us that we get to eat in the cafeteria with the big kids now. I wonder if I'll get to see my neighbor Michael!? He's a really big kid!! I'm so excited, I can't wait to come back tomorrow!

                  



                  

After nap time Jax decided to try on his new shoes. He loved him. And Mama thinks that maybe he has a new look going for himself. I think winter time might be a little rough for him though...

                

                  

Finn got to help Mama make dinner tonight. He even picked what we were having. Pasta! Somehow it always tastes better when you get to help make it. And we all loved it. After dinner we went on a nice, long, family walk. It was lots of fun and we got to hear all about Kai's first day of school. Then we came home, showered up, got to watch and quick show and then Daddy read Kai and Finn books while Mama read me books and night night me. This morning we got to go to another birthday party!! Today was Aidan's Jedi Training birthday party! We got to play with lightsabres, run the training course, eat pizza and cupcakes and watermelon and Mama came home!! After the party we headed down to Thursday's to meet Grandma and Granddaddy. It was a perfect afternoon. The sun was shining, the breeze was blowing. We had so much fun just hanging out by the water. That is our happy place!





                 



                 

                 

This morning when we got up we got to snuggle up in Daddy and Mama's bed again until we were all ready to stretch our legs (and fill our bellies)



Then it was off to Chuck E Cheese's for our friend Guyer's birthday party! We played games and rode rides and had pizza and when it was time to trade in our tickets our buddy Guyer sure was upset. He didn't have enough tickets for the toy he wanted. So, my brothers and I all gave Guyer all of our tickets to make him happy because "we're already lucky" and "we don't care about toys, we just care about our friend Guyer". Mama and Daddy were really proud of us for doing that. After the party, when Jax woke up from his nap, Daddy took us to North Four Corners Park. We love that place! We ran around, we had snacks, we had a great time! Then we went home and went for a family walk (minus Mama). Kai was enamored by a super, large sunflower in a neighbors yard. Then Daddy bought us Chinese food for dinner. YUM!



                 



                





And while we were doing all that Mama was hanging out on a lake with her girlfriends and going out for drinks. She was having fun but missing her boys at the same time!
