This evening we got reservations for the soft opening at the new Zinnia, previously Mrs. K's Tollhouse! 

 

   

It was a beautiful evening and we got to enjoy the lovely atmosphere! 

   

                                  

The food was just okay, lots of small plates to share, but they're getting there...

   

                                  

Daddy and Mama enjoyed their fancy drinks...

   

...we enjoyed snacking and then running around the grounds and having fun like the old days at Mrs. K's!

                                    

                                  

   

                                    

And our friends had a reservation after us so it was fun to hang with them for a little bit too!

                                  

They had it all set up really nicely. It was really cute. We hope we'll be back soon!

   

   

 

Today is Mama's Birthday so Daddy arranged for all of us to go to Le Diplomate for dinner! 

 

   

We got the beef tartare and of course we got the escargot for appetizers!

                                  

Kai got the duck a l'orange...it was amazing!

                                   

I got the burger and amazing fries!

                                   

Daddy and mama shared French onion soup and the fish en pappiote.

   

And of course I got the steak au pouve with the fries. YUM!

                                  

Then we got the creme brulee and the profiteroles!! What a presentation!

                                  

Mama was impressed!

                                   

Everything was so delicious. We were so happy to be together celebrating over an amazing meal.

   

   

The creme brulee was amazing. We can't wait until we can come back some time soon!

                                  

                                  

In case we didn't have enough to do this weekend we decided to pack up Sunday morning and haul our butts out to the beach to take our opportunity to take a look at our possible, hopefully, soon to be beach condo! 

 

It was smooth sailing and we got there and got to go inside for the first time! It was fun to run around and check out all the nooks and crannies!

                                   

And what a view from our front porch!! We can actually see the ocean. We really hope we'll have that short walk to the beach really soon!

                                   

   

                                   

   

                                  

                                   

And then we had to go check out the outside and make our way to getting some sand in our toes...

After we checked out the condo we went with Miss Amy and Miss Anne to Longboard Cafe for an early celebratory dinner before heading back on the road and heading home!

   

  

 

 

                                   

                                    

It was a great day and a lot of driving but it was all worth it and it was a fun adventure as usual!
