This morning was the first day of Vacation Bible School at St. Luke for Finn and I. It's called "Cave Quest" and we get to learn all kinds of fun things. We're super excited!

                  

While my big brothers are at camp I get to hang with Mama and that means playing and playing and playing! This morning it was weapons and swords! I won!

                  

                 

When Mama and Jax came to pick us up from St. Luke today I was so excited to see them and tell them about all the fun we had today. We sang songs and did coloring and learned some nice bible stories and even got to explore and bring home our own rocks with crystals in them. Daddy said it's called quartz!

                 

                  

                  

We were so lucky because our car was in the shop so Papi brought Mama and Jax to come to pick us up from camp! We were excited to see him and then he even took us out to lunch at McDonalds!! It was a great afternoon!











Later Mama let us have a little iPad time. Even Lucy joined us. Then we got to help Mama make banana bread while Jax crashed out! We were so helpful. Especially with the "clean up"!



                  

                 

                  



Then we went outside to check out our garden. It sure is growing! Our corn is getting so tall, our watermelon vines are growing and we even have 2 jalepeno peppers! We are so excited!





Later Kai went to play with his friend Aidan and Finn and I played some connect four. I won!

                  

                 

After our shower we went outside to do some lightening bug hunting! We found lots and lots of them and then we got to run around and play outside and enjoy some of this beautiful summer evening together!





                 

                 

Today we decided to make it a pool day since we're planning to drive home and didn't have time to spend the whole day on the beach so we all headed outside to the beautiful sunny Sunday at the pool!

                  

I was ready to swim! I was like a fish swimming all around that pool. I was just glad that the shark didn't really get me!!

                 

                  

                 

Daddy taught Kai how to do some swim strokes. He sure is becoming a super strong swimmer. Jax, Colby and I swam all around the pool! I can't wait until Jax and I learn to swim without our floaties!

                 

Then Grandma hooked us up with tons of snacks out at the pool. It was fun hanging out with Andrea and Colby, Grandma and Granddaddy. Then it was time to head home. Mama and Daddy packed us up and we headed back to Silver Spring. Back to our Lucy! We sure do love vacation but it's also good to be home sweet home...now we can't wait until Friday when we head back to the beach!!





                 

This morning we got up and Grandma, Granddaddy, Colby, Mama, Daddy, Finn, Jax and I headed over to the Coffee Beanery for some breakfast!



It was a beautiful morning but not quite beach hot yet so we got to take a stop at the park for some play time. We love playing at the beach park!



                 

Then it was time to pack up and head to the beach! The water was still a beautiful color today but those waves sure were rough! My brothers and I decided to splash around in the low surf for a while!

                 

                  

                 

                  

Then Kai just couldn't wait any longer! He made a friend and Daddy and Mama kept watch and told them that they could only go in halfway because of how big the waves were and how strong the undertow was! That Kai sure is a tough dude! He knows how to swim in the ocean and navigate the waves like a champ. I hope I get to be just like him when I get bigger!

                  

                

Then Mama helped us make a sand castle village! We even dug a mote and a river and lake that met the ocean!





                 

Lots of our family was hanging out on the beach! Aunt Lisa, cousin Andrea, cousin Brian and Laura and Carter and Westin! We had fun playing and hanging out with everyone!







                  

After a long day at the beach we decided we'd head home and jump in the pool for a little while. It was a nice, refreshing dip in the pool. We had tons of fun!







Then it was time to head to Kirby's! I rode my scooter all the way there. Just like Kai!

                 

Then we met up with family and had a great dinner.









                  

I got to ride Finn's scooter the whole way home. I wish this picture came out less blurry so everyone could see how cute I looked in Finn's helmet and riding his scooter!

                 

it was a long day. We got home and got all cleaned up and ready for bed. Then Daddy read us books and had us cracking up! It was another great day at the beach with family!
