Today, on the coldest day of the year, we decided it was time to get out of the house and run around a little bit. Our first stop was Trader Joe's for some fruit and Daddy's coffee!

                                     

                                      

Then we hit GameStop to ask them some questions about our new Nintendo Switch that we got from MeMa and PopPop for Christmas! I really wanted this hat but Mama reminded me that I had a whole load of Christmas presents still at home that had yet to be opened...

                                     

Stop 3 was the library!! We had some books to return and then we got to run around and pick out a whole new stack of books to bring home. We got some really good ones and we can't wait to go home and do some reading on these cold days!

                                      

                                     

                                      



                                     

                                      

                                      



The last stop was Potbelly sandwich shop for some lunch! We had a nice lunch together and it sure was yummy!







Then we went home and Mama put together the Squawk game! We all played and we had some serious laughs. That is one funny game and that chicken sure does make some silly noises!







Then our friends Aidan and Rowan came over to play for a bit. We played some games and then we played with our bumper cars. We had a tournament and Jax won the most rounds!!

                                     









                                     

Then we played a little hockey and basketball before it was time for our friends to go home.

                                     



Later finn and I took a bath. We put our water balls in the tub but they didn't seem to grow too much so we decided to let them sit over night. We'll see how big they get...



Then we all snuggled up and watched some shows before heading to bed. It was a great day!

                                     

Today Mama decided that we needed a day to decompress and relax and stay in our pj's...so that's what we did! While Mama ran up and down the steps doing laundry my brothers and I played some iPad and with lots of our new toys...

                                     

Then we snuggled in Mama and Daddy's bed and watched the Captain Underpants movie...



Then we even got to have popcorn in Mama and Daddy's room - but only on the floor! And we had a movie double header and watched the Lego Batman Movie!





Later we went to Red Maple for dinner. Boy was it cold outside. It's funny when you haven't been outside all day and you don't realize how cold it is out. We warmed up with some yummy miso soup and some sushi and had a great family night! We're hoping that everyone is out of the woods and finally feeling better so we can enjoy the rest of our Christmas vacation from school! The best part is that we get to sleep in again tomorrow. Hooray!

This morning Daddy was finally feeling normal and he got up and helped us make some snow balls with our Snoopy Snowball machine that Uncle Jason and Aunt Mindy gave us for Christmas!

                                     

                                     

Then we got to have a Christmas Do-Over with our MeMa and PopPop and Nana and Papi and Auntie Rita and Chance!! Our little cousin Chancey looked just like a sweet little elf! He was so cute and I think he really liked the gifts that we got him!

                                     

                                     

                                     

                                     

It was fun to finally hang out and play and have some fun and relax and it sure made it feel like Christmas since the first one was kind of a dud...



                                     



Later we got to go to Uncle Jay and Aunt Carol's house to celebrate with more family. We had so much fun running around with all of our cousins and playing games.

                                     

                                     

                                      

We played with toys and ate and ran around and watched special performances by our girl cousins. It was a great night and we sure were glad to get out of the house. This Christmas is really turning around!
