While Kai went to his game, we met MeMa and PopPop, Nana and Papi, Cousin BoBo and Dave and Johnny at the wholesale nursery to get flowers for our yard!
It was so cool there! They had green houses for miles and boy was it hot inside! It's a good thing it wasn't a sunny morning or we would have been roasting inside those houses! There were also plants and flowers as far as the eye could see!
Finn and I had fun playing games and hiding in the flowers and racing around to see if we could get all the way around the green houses. We also got to help Mama pick some really pretty flowers to put in our garden. And Mama let us pick the hanging baskets for our front porch!
Papi even scored me a short ride in the back of the 4 wheeler wagon!
They also had this cool machine that filled all of these trays with potting soil. Now the trays are ready for flowers or plants to go into the green houses. Pretty neat!
Even Charlie came to join us. She stayed in Nana and Papi's car but she was happy when we loaded up the cars with all the pretty flowers!
Then we said goodbye to our cousins and our Grandparents before heading to the end of Kai's game! It was turning out to be a beautiful day!
I was happy to see everyone at my game! They even saved me some sausage, egg and cheese mcmuffin. They sure are thoughtful! It was a gorgeous, sunny morning. We played hard but we couldn't pull out the win in the time frame that we had. I also struck out for the first time ever. It's a good thing I'm still the leading base stealing on my team!!
When we got home from the game it was so warm and toasty out. We all got changed then we got the water balloons and water guns out. Joseph came to help us play with all of them. Then Mama got to work hanging her baskets and cleaning out the beds to get ready for planting and mulching!
Later I got to go to my buddy Albert's house in Takoma Park for a sleep over! I had butterflies in my stomach because I was really excited and a tiny bit nervous. But Daddy and Mama told me I was gonna have a blast. And that I could call them anytime!
After we dropped Kai off we hung around Takoma Park for dinner. We went to the Mediterranean
restaurant. It was so tasty! I got to share some of Daddy and Mama's falafel and gyro. They were YUMMY!
Then we called Nana and Papi and they and their friend David came to meet us. We hung out with them for a little bit and then we headed to the toy store and the park while they ate their dinner.
Then we all went to have some gelato. I got mint chocolate chip and Jax got cookies and cream with sprinkles. It was delicious! And a great end to an exceptional Saturday. We sure did have a great day!
Albert and I had an amazing evening. We played outside for a long time! We had an awesome bbq chicken dinner and then we played some electronics and ran around the house and talked and had so much fun! Then we got to watch the Diary Of a Wimpy Kid before heading to sleep. This is a pretty fun sleepover so far!
