It was a rainy night in the tent. It rained in the middle of the night and then again really hard right when we were waking up around 7am. Mama went and got us all breakfast sandwiches from WaWa and we got to eat them in the tent. It was kind of cool being in the tent in the rain. We were nice and dry while it poured outside and that is pretty neat!

We hung out with our buddy Conall, we finished our breakfast and then once it stopped raining Daddy and Mama got us all packed up and ready to hit the road home. We sure had a blast but I don't think Mama and Daddy are really cut out for camping. Our next camping trip will be in the beach house in Ocean City we hope!

When we got home we unpacked and Daddy did lots of laundry. Mama took a rest because she didn't sleep too well on the air mattresses. Then we got to hang at MeMa and PopPop's house and play with our cousins. It was SO MUCH FUN!

We ran all around and got all hot and sweaty. Then we had an amazing dinner that MeMa prepared.

Then we made an attempt at a group photo. I think we did a pretty good job. That is one cute group of kids!

Then MeMa read us all books. That was our favorite!

This morning we woke up in our tent. It was a really cool adventure. We didn't put up the room dividers so our tent was super big inside! Our buddy Conall had a sleep over in our tent with us and that was  fun too!

After some breakfast we all got our bathing suits on and got packed up and ready for the beach. It was a beautiful, hot and sunny day and we couldn't wait to get our beach on!

Untitled

It was quite the hike to get to the beach but once we got there we had a blast!! It was a perfect beach day and even though the water was ice cold, we still went in and loved it! Kai was in the water almost all day, as usual!

We had fun digging with our friends and running around and swimming and splashing. It was awesome!

I got to spend a lot of time with my new best friend Dylon! He played with me almost all day. I can't wait until he comes over to my house for a play date!

Then it was time to make the long trek back to the camp site from the beach. It sure was hot and we were slow but we got to check out the barracks again and that was fun. Boy was it steamy outside!

Then we all went back, showered up and headed to Bethany Blues for some dinner as a group. There were 40 of us!! We took over the place. We're so glad that Mr. Jim got us all in there. And boy was dinner yummy! And I got to finally hang out with my best friend Stephen!

When we got back to the camp site we did some running around and playing with all our friends. Then we got to snuggle up in the tent and do some iPad time while Daddy got all of our things packed up and put in the car in case it rains over night like its supposed to...It was so fun having a slumber party in our tent!

Today was my pre-school graduation from St. Luke Christian Day School. Mama and Daddy can't believe that school is over for me and that in the Fall I will be a Kindergartner at St. Bernadette! I am really becoming a big boy!

Even my brothers, MeMa and PopPop, Granddaddy, Nana and Papi all came to watch my closing program. We did such a nice job. We sang such pretty songs and everyone was really proud of me!

After the program we had a cookie reception out on the patio. I got to run around with all my best buds one last time before our venture to Kindergarten!

Then it was time to get packed up for our camping trip to Cape Henlopen State Park with all of our friends! Daddy got to packing up the car while Kai and I headed to school for field day.

It was hot and sunny but we had so much fun and our house (the red house) WON field day!!! I think we're on our way to winning the house cup this year!

Then it was off to Delaware and our camping trip. We headed over the Bay Bridge and off to the camp site!

We arrived and I promptly caught my first frog. He sure was cute. And squirmy and wiggly! I let him go so I didn't squish him but I was off to look for more frogs right away!

Then we were off to play with all our friends. It was so cool to run all around the park and the dunes and the military tower with all the kids. It was amazing to have free reign of the park and be safe with people we know.

Daddy and Mama and their friends got the camp sites set up and the tents erected. We were set up in no time. It was really exciting.

Mama made lots of goodies for us and even adult juice boxes for the adults!

We had a cookout with all of the families that were there. There were hot dogs and burgers and sausages and sides and salads and desserts. It was great! And we had so much fun. Then we were off running around with all the kids again. This is a kids dream come true!

Untitled

We took an evening walk to the beach with some of the parents and all the kids. We walked through the old military barracks and got to see some of the old artillery. It was AWESOME!

Then we hit the actual beach. It was pretty dark out and there were a lot of kids with us so Mama and Daddy shut it down and said we had to go back. There were too many kids in the water to keep track of so we made the long trek back. Boy was it a cool first night at the camp site!
