After the movie we walked around the mall and Nana and Papi took us to Target where we got to pick out some awesome new toys. We had a blast and loved spending time with Nana and Papi!

And while we were out Daddy and Mama were hard at work! They got all the Christmas decorations out and got everything put up before we got home. They took advantage of the warm weather and gave us a great surprise when we got home. We were so happy to see the beautiful decorations and we were SO happy!

Then we got to decorate our bedroom Christmas tree. We put the menorah ornament front and center to honor our Grandma. And then we even decorated with lots of Mardi Gras beads because we love New Orleans and because they looked awesome on our tree.

Today was a rainy, cold and gloomy day! Mama decided to make a Vaquaro bean and ham soup in the instant pot. It smelled so good and looked great too!

We played some board games and watched some Christmas shows that we recorded. It was a great day to spend inside because not only was it cold, it was windy and rainy and boy did it rain!

Then we put on our rain boots and grabbed our umbrellas and headed over to Joseph's house. Where we played more games and had more fun! It was a great afternoon!

While we played at Joseph's Mama made 2 cheese cakes in the instant pot! A regular, New York style and a chocolate one. And boy did they look good. We put a raspberry glaze on the regular one and we planned to take them both to Nana and Papi's house for Thanksgiving 2.0.

Today we got to sleep in and relax on the day after Thanksgiving! Our buddy Joseph came over and we all ran around, played inside and outside (boy was it cold outside) and then we decided to watch some shows and hang out!

Untitled

Then Daddy made us a great lunch-a-pallooza! It was so yummy!

Untitled

We hung around the house most of the day because it was so cold outside. No one wanted to do much. We read books, we played games and then finally at dinner time Daddy decided we needed a Cactus night! So off to Cactus Cantina we went!

Today is Thanksgiving and we're so excited! It is a super chilly day today so we started the morning snuggled up by the fire watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in stereo!

Untitled

And nothing says Thanksgiving morning like leftover pizza and cheese fries for breakfast!!

Then we headed to our friends the Zanger's house. They have an annual Thanksgiving open house and fire pit party that we've never been able to attend. All the adults stayed warm outside with the fire pit, cherry bomb shots and bloody mary's.

The kids were smarter because we stayed warm inside with chess and heat!

And before we knew it, it was time for Thanksgiving dinner at Uncle Freddy's house! There was SO MUCH FOOD! Turkey's and ham and roasted pork. Tamales and mac and cheese and stuffing and rice with chorizo and eggs. Sweet potatoes and mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce and green bean casserole and creamed spinach and corn bread and brussels sprouts....and...and...that wasn't even all! Or the dessert table!

                                      Untitled

We got to see so much family and play with lots of cousins. It was a super fun and delicious time.
