Another day, another hair color...can't stop, won't stop! 

                                

Today we noticed that the little lime growing on our tree is getting bigger. We hope this one can hang on and not die and fall off like all the ones before it...

                               

And later Mama had to go pick Daddy up here in Langley Park where he got a flat tire and had to have his car towed to the tire shop...

And for dinner we all decided to make pork gyoza, my favorite!!!

                              

Mama got the wrappers all ready and the meat filling all prepared and we used the dumpling makers that MeMa and PopPop got us for Christmas. They worked perfectly!!

                                

                               

We all got into the action. Put a little meat in the middle, dab some water along the edge and then close the dumpling mold and ta da! A little pork dumpling!!!

We were really going there! We had two whole trays made when we were done!

                               

And while Mama fried up the dumplings and got the rest of our dinner ready Finn and I got to have a crawfish appetizer! We sure are lucky!

                               

The gyoza turned out beautifully! Perfectly crisp and soft at the same time. 

                               

Everything turned out perfectly and it was a delicious dinner!

And then we noticed that it was snowing and sleeting outside. More white stuff than we expected anyway. And our house looked so pretty at night! it's still coming down and getting colder over night. Fingers crossed for a delay to school opening tomorrow!

                                

                               

This morning Mama got up early and ran to the new vegan donut shop in Takoma Park.  

                              

                               

We're so glad she did because THIS is what she brought home. And boy were they HUGE and delicious! And who knew vegan stuff could taste this good? We think they're fibbing to us!

                                 

Donuts the size of our heads and bacon...breakfast of champions!

                               

Then I had to do extra credit for religion class. I had to lift a gallon of water 300 times like Rebekah did in the bible. It was not easy...

                                

                               

                                

And then I had Mama color my hair. I thought it looked great!

                                

                               

Today Mama worked on an order for someone who wanted a snowman and a unicorn. They all came out so cute! We're liking the ear muff addition to the snowmen! 

Then we helped Daddy get his meatballs ready for our dinner tonight! We can't wait for our meatball stroganoff tonight!

Then we headed to the Filburn's house to have a toast to our new Administration and a better 4 years ahead! It sure was cold out but Mr. Filburn made us a really warm oil drum fire!

                              

Plus we're kids and we just like running around outside even when it's cold out. We went to see the chickens and played in the woods. It was a lot of fun!

                               

                               

                                

Adults got to talk to each other and we had sparkling cider and cupcakes for the kids!

                               

                               

Then we did our toast to good friends and that the orange monster is out of the White House and that Biden and Harris are in!

                               

                                

                                

Then it was time for more playing and running around!

                               

                                

                                

                                

As it started getting darker and colder, Mr. Filburn decided to make us some snow!!!! We didn't think it was possible but it really worked!!!

                                

                                

                               

It was a little wet and slushy at first but man, once it started to get going we had SNOW!! Actual snow!

                                

                               

                               

                               

                               

We ran around and even got to do some sledding!!! It was crazy. Who is lucky enough to have their friends MAKE SNOW at their house?! We are, that's who!

                                

                               

                                

                                 

It was a wonderful evening but then we were COLD and ready to have some dinner so we went home and  I hopped right into a warm bath to get myself warmed up!

                                

Daddy got to work on his meatballs and delicious dinner he was making us!

                                

It was an amazing night spent with good friends. Here's to a better 4 years ahead!
