Today is the 100th day of school and for my shirt I made a smiley face out of soda pop tops! It turned out great and I can't wait to show all my friends at school! 

                               

                               

It was a beautiful day today. I got to spend lots of time hanging with Stephen and Alex and my other friends at outdoor recess. And it was a great walk home with Mama and Kai. It's so nice out we're getting a little Spring Fever!

                              

                               

It was still so nice and mild out after dinner that we were able to go sit out on the front porch and play for a little while. We can't wait until it's porch sitting weather again! We do love our porch!

Later I went to sleep listening to my spa sounds. A babbling brooke and some soothing music. Mama and Daddy said I really know how to relax! And I do. It put me right to sleep!

 Today Jax has his Black History Month presentation on Frederick Douglass so he had to dress the part. We dropped him off at his door first this morning then Mama dropped me off at my entry door. It's going to be a good day. I feel outdoor recess in my future!

                               

                               

Before I knew it, it was time for the presentations. Mama got to watch me on Zoom and Mrs. Rodriguez even took a video of my presentation so Daddy and Mama could watch it at home!

                               

We got to see Yafet and Saron at home and it was nice to see my distance learning friends! They did a great job on their presentations too!

                               

                               

I even got to say goodbye to Mama on zoom. It was very cool! Then it was time for some outdoor fun!

After school Mama and I walked up to school to pick Finn and Jax up. It was really nice and sunny out so we all walked home together. It was great. I see this becoming a new routine!

                              

                              

                               

Well, today's the day! Back to in-person school for Jax and I and we are both really excited! 

                               

                              

When we got to school Father Russo helped us navigate which doors we go to get our temperature checked and where to go to get to our classes. Finn was the first drop off at the school hall doors.

                             

Then I got dropped off at the K-2 doors by the Snack Shack after Ms. Belknap took my temperature. And off we went!

                              

And while the little ones were in school Mama ran some errands and came home with this gigantic snuggly Baby Yoda Squishamallow for ME! I was so excited...Daddy not so much. But I was really happy to get something special just for me too!

                              

After school the dismissal was a little different but we got the hang of it quickly. It was a snowy, icy, slushy day but we walked carefully and walked down to Mama waiting for us on the sidewalk behind school!

                               

                               

                               

                              

I had a great day! I was all smiles and full of stories about my first, fun day back in school!!

                              

                               

I had a great day too. I was disappointed because it was snowing and slushy out we didn't get to have outdoor recess and I didn't get to see Stephen today but I'm hopeful for tomorrow. It was still a really good day!

                              

We ALL loved snuggling with Kai's new baby yoda! We wish we each got one but then Mama said we'd have to move out of our house because they would take up too much space! Hooray for back to school!

                               

Before bed we got to read some books together. Jax read us the first book. He's getting really good at reading. I helped him on a word or two that he got stuck on. Then Mama read us a couple of books. Then we all got an early start to bedtime so that we could start fresh tomorrow!

Today I made sure to work on my 100th day of school shirt with Mama and practice my Frederick Douglass presentation with my family before we head to school in-person tomorrow! 

                               

Then we went to have a little visit with Nana and Papi, Auntie Nay Nay, Uncle Harvey and Caleb before our start at in-person school. We had fun playing and running around!

                              

                               

                               

                               

For dinner we got to have a special back to school meal! We tried Pacci's new Davinci pizza and wings. The pizza was amazing! Will try again!

                               

                               

                               

The wings were just okay. We'd rather go to the pub for those!

                               

After dinner we played a few rounds of Go Nuts for Donuts! It was so much fun. We love family game nights!

In the morning Mama got the table prepared with all of the tools and supplies we'd need for the Nailed It Live event later in the afternoon! We had everything we needed. 

Then we got our new mattress delivered! We were ALL excited!

                                

It feels so nice! We can't wait to chill and relax on Daddy and Mama's bed!

                               

Later we went to St. B's to meet Mrs. Rodriguez so that Finn and I could drop off our books and so that we could see our classrooms and where we need to go on Monday morning.

                               

I was so excited to see my desk and where I'll sit and where all my friends sit and my new classroom! I'm SO EXCITED!!! I can't wait until Monday!

                              

                                

Then we went up to my classroom and delivered my books outside the door because the class was locked up.

                                

But I got to see where I need to go on Monday and where I'll bring my backpack and other supplies. I'm excited for monday too!

                                

                               

Then it was TIME!!! Time for the Nailed it At Home live event!!! And we were so excited because Jacques Torres, world famous pastry chef and chocolatier, was the actual host! We LOVE Jacques!!!

                              

We had all of our elements ready to put together to prepare our master piece!

There were people from all over on the zoom call! And even some celebrities!

                             

                              

Then we were off! I had to make icing for the cookies, Kai had to roll out the cookie dough, Finn had to roll out the fondant...

                                

                              

I got working on assembling the cake and icing it.

And then I had to get our cookies in the oven!

                               

I got to decorate the cookies once they came out of the oven!

                              

We were in a real time crunch along with everyone else but we were having fun doing it all!

We were pretty proud of our finishes product. It didn't look perfect but boy did it taste good! 

                              

                               

And Mama said she loved it! And the best part was that we all got to do it together!

                               

We can't wait to do it again! Yay Nailed It!!!

Then it was time to snuggle up and test out Daddy and Mama's new bed. Boy is it comfy!

                              

After a cookie for dessert...

                               

We decided to have a movie night. We watched the cutest movie about a girl and her super hero squirrel! It was a great way to spend a Saturday night!
