This morning we woke up and Nana made us all a wonderful breakfast with lots of BACON!

                            

                              

We spent the rest of this weird cloudy day chillin at home and recovering from a fun Friday night. Then Daddy and Mama decided we should go on a Saturday night adventure! Down to the monuments!

                            

It was still a pretty warm night but it was a perfect night for checking out the sites at night!

                            

                             

It's so cool to see the Monument and the WWII Memorial and the Capitol and the Lincoln Memorial and the Jefferson Memorial all lit up. They look so beautiful!

                            

And we even happened upon a little party happening at the base of the Washington Monument! We didn't ask what it was for but it sure looked and sounded fun!

   

                           

                             

                           

Then we took a stroll down to the WWII Memorial...

                            

                             

   

Those fountains sure were inviting! We sat with our feet in the water for a few minutes cooling off!

                            

                            

                            

                            

It sure was a pretty night and we sure do live in a beautiful place! We feel very lucky to live around so much culture and history and beauty! 

                            

   

                            

                           

Today was a hot day but I went on a walk with my friend Albert. Then we ended up at his house for some lemonade! It was a nice visit and I got some love from his big, friendly dog! 

                            

Then it was off to the pool! We got to chill and do some reading during adult swim...

   

Then it was right in the water after rest period! There were a lot of people there enjoying the pool!

                            

                            

We had lots of fun in the sun today!

                             

                             

                            

Then it was off to Nana and Papi's where we discovered the new go cart that Nana and Papi bought for us to play with!!! We can't wait to get going!

                             

                             

We had a cousins dinner while Mama and Daddy were off to see Mama's besties!

                            

It was a beautiful night for Mama and Daddy and their friends to reunite after the pandemic! They were all so happy to see each other and hang out!

   

   

                            

                             

   

I even got to talk to Mama on the phone from there! It was a great night for everyone!

                                

Today was another glorious day and our friends the Filburn's invited us to come to their marina and swim for the day! The water felt great! 

                            

The drinks were cold and yummy!

                             

There was barely a cloud in the sky and the sunshine felt amazing!

   

And we got to have snacks...

                            

                           

And play together all day!

                             

   

And we got to get those burgers that we didn't get the last time we were here for lunch! YUM!

                            

   

Even Mama got some relaxing in, and some book reading!

                             

And a new way to keep the flys out of her drink!

                            

After a day at the pool we headed to the boat to chill for a bit.

                            

                            

   

I even got to do a little magnet and net fishing. The only thing I caught was a nail but that's okay, it was still fun!

                             

                            

                            

It was another perfect day in Annapolis. Thankful for this perfect weather, wonderful family and great friends!
