This morning when we woke up it was cold, cold, COLD! No one should have to go outside when it's this cold! 

                              

Thankfully I got to take a personal day to "recover" from my booster shot! Mama and I ran some errands then grabbed some lunch.

                               

Then we went to get a car wash and we found out they have new color changing lights in the car wash! It was SO cool and they turned every color!

   

   

   

   

   

After school my buddy Alex got to come over for a play date. It was fun to run around and have some fun together!

                              

                              

And I went home with my friend Eva to have a play date.

                             

It sure was cold out but we still played outside with all of our friends who live on her block!

                               

Later Mama cooked her butterflied chicken and boy was it amazing! That brine really did it's magic!

   

   

And I got to have a little foot soak and massage before bed. Ahhhh this is the life!

                             

 This morning Daddy and Mama went to see Auntie Tori at her new Food Truck in Takoma Park, the Green Rooster!

                             

                             

   

                              

Everything was so yummy! They tried the hot apple cider, the Shi Latte, the avocado toast and the banana almond butter toast. The textures and flavors were amazing and Daddy and mama can't wait to go back!

   

   

After school it was time to get boosted!

                             

We went to Lockwood pharmacy and took care of business. And it was scary but it didn't hurt and now I'm protected even more. Woo Hoo!

                               

When we got home Mama made a brine for her chicken for tomorrow night. Wow, it sure made the whole house smell good!

                            

Tonight we had a family game night after dinner! 

 

We played Rumikube! One of our favorite games!! And then we played some meme game. It was lots of fun!

   

And I'm a goof ball!

                            

I even did some serenading tonight! Game night makes me sing!

                             

Today my basketball game was at Banneker Middle school, where Daddy went to school! It was fun for me and for Daddy to go there.  

 

And even MeMa and PopPop came to watch me play! That was a fun surprise!

                             

I had a game at the same time as Finn but my game was in DC at St. Ann's. We had fun but unfortunately we played Holy Redeemer and the players and parents and coaches are apparently a bunch of assholes that won't wear masks even though it's the rule and there is a mask mandate in DC...but we digress...

   

I scored a basket and had a good time and Mama said we'll never play holy redeemer again if they don't follow the rules. That's fair!

   

Later Daddy took us all to a cool new ice cream parlor he heard about in Columbia called Dreamery!

   

                              

It smelled so good inside like the waffle cones they made in store!

                            

                              

They had some cool flavors like Old Bay Caramel! And they even had mini hot fudge sundaes!

   

And a mini (or maybe lifesized) Danny Devito?

                              

                              

YUMMMM the ice cream was so good! Good call Daddy. Everyone needs ice cream on a Sunday. Even in the winter!

                             

                            

Today I was really lucky because my buddy Alex came over for a play date! 

 

   

I even got to play with the boys and we had lots of laughs and lots of fun!

   

Later Nana and Papi came over for dinner and to hang out because we haven't seen them in so long!

   

We had fun showing Nana and Papi our 3D printer and Nana even picked some things to print for Caleb and Chance. 

   

We played and hung out and watched the football game and some golf. 

   

It was the perfect way to spend a super chilly, winter night in! 

   

 

 Tonight we went to MeMa and PopPop's house for dinner! We haven't seen them in what seems like far too long!

 

Plus we had MeMa and PoPop's photo book from Christmas to delivery to them! It was a good one and we enjoyed looking at it together!

   

We had a fun dinner and got to hang out and have a great time together!
