This morning we woke up and had our breakfast out on the front porch. Then we all had business meetings...okay we were just playing on our computers but it looked like we all had meetings... 

 

Then we decided to head outside and hang on the beach. It was another weird hazy day but it was warm and that sun kept coming in and out!

                               

                                

The lifeguards were getting ready for the big opening weekend and setting up the guard chairs along the beach. They were really using those four wheelers in an ingenious way!

                               

                               

It kept getting cloudy and then sunny. It felt pretty good out until the sun stopped coming back so we headed home.

                               

                               

                               

                              

But the lifeguards worked on hoping to beat the rain!

                              

Then Mama made us all a fun mini charcuterie lunch. We all got our very own boxes. These are going to be a hit this summer on the beach!

   

                               

Then Mama decided to make a privacy screen out of the panels that were previously on her and Daddy's wall. She didn't like then there anymore so she thought up a new use for them.

                              

Then we got to see this huge procession of really cool cars? Motorcycles? Slingshots? They were all so cool!

   

   

Then Mama completed her project! She sure is crafty!

                             

Probably should have had sunscreen on...Mama and Daddy know better. Just because it's cloudy doesn't mean that the sun isn't blazing away up there! Lesson learned and we won't make this mistake again!

                             

 This morning Mama went to the grocery store and she came home with these goodies! They were so darn good we all enjoyed them!

                               

                               

Then Mama went shopping to look for a bike for the beach! And she found the one she wanted at the first stop in a bike shop in Fenwick! Apparently these bad boys are flying off the lot. Looks like Mama might have her a new bike...

   

Later Mama had to head back to the store because all her friends want the Old Bay Goldfish!! Thank goodness she found them!

                              

Later we all went to Tailchasers across the street from our house so to speak and had a nice little happy hour! It was great. We had the place to ourselves, we had great snacks and drinks!

                               

                               

                               

                              

                               

When we got home we decided to play around on the beach with our new beach toys! It was warm but definitely cloudy. We can always have fun when we have our feet in the sand!

                               

                              

   

   

   

Then Mama's new bike was delivered! We were all so excited! Daddy took it for the inaugural spin!

                                

                               

It's so fun! We all love it and we can't wait to ride it around town!

                              

                              

                               

                               

Even I got to test it out but it was a touch too big for me. I'm going to keep growing and then I'll be able to ride it too. 

                                

Later we needed to get out of the house before the Memorial Day weekend crowds arrived so we biked and walked to Alley Oops for a few games! I got to drive Mama's new bike through the back streets but it was pretty foggy out still so Mama drove on the main roads!

                              

                               

                              

We had lots of fun at Alley Oops, it was pretty empty! And then we came home to play some of our new UNO game and Candy Land! It was a great beach day and night!

   

 

Today after school Daddy and Mama packed us up and hit the road back to OC. We got there just in time for Mama to make it to her books and wine club meeting at the Buzzed Word! 

                               

                                

                              

After book club we met back up with Mama and we all tried Coins for dinner. It was pretty empty but the music was pumping. It was a fun dinner! And Mama had her first grapefruit crush since getting covid and she could actually smell and taste it!

 

                              

When we got back to the house we ran out to check out the beach. We took some pictures on Mama's phone and it's crazy how her camera makes everything look so much brighter even though it was pretty dark on the beach!

   

                               

                              

It was fun to check the beach out. We can't wait for more fun tomorrow!
