Tonight we were missing summer and some yummy crabs so we decided to have a mini feast!

                                            

They smelled and looked so good! We couldn't wait to dig in!

                                       

And this is the year that I learned to pick my own crabs! And i'm pretty good at it too! Everyone was so proud of me, even my bothers! This is going to be a good summer for crab feasting with my family!

                                      

It was a yummy and fun night! Now we really can't wait until summer!

                                      

Last night was the New Student Welcome night at DeMathat high school. It was pretty neat to see all of the kids that will be there from St. B's next year all together. I think there are 10 of us total!

Then this morning Mama headed for the beach for her beach book club meeting!

When she got there the weather was so nice that she took her book and went to sit on the beach to read for a while. 

                                     

Nothing better than a sunny, warm day at the beach!

                                        

 Today was a sad day because Mama and Daddy had to go to a Celebration of Life for Mama's old friend Jon Jon.  It was held at the VIP section of Meriweather. 

                                      

                                       

Although it was a really sad day and a really disappointing thing to celebrate, Mama was really happy to spend some time with a lot of old friends. It was a bitter sweet day for sure!

                                      

 Last night all of Kai's friends spent the night and this morning Mama hooked us all up with a fantastic spread! Donuts and fruit and lots of bacon and mmm mmm!

                                     

I was happy all the big boys were there too and I got to have whatever donuts I wanted!

And then we all chilled and played video games and hung out until it was time for everyone to go home. It was a great Friday/Saturday!

                                      

Yesterday Jax and I helped Daddy get the fridge all stocked up in the shack. Then I went to Mama and PopPop's house to clean their sky lights! 

                                       

                                      

And tonight is the first Friday night on the field!! We are all so excited and so is the whole community and  it just so happens that it's a BEAUTIFUL evening! The sun is shining the weather is warm! Hooray for the return of Friday night on the field!

And Mama's best helping shack crew!!

Nana and Papi and Auntie Nay Nay and Uncle Harvey and Auntie Rita and our cousins all came to hang out and run around!

And we all got to run around with our friends and enjoy a beautiful evening on the field!

                                      

                                      

We hung out until the sun went down and until they turned the lights out and kicked everyone off the field!

Me and my friends got to hang late night and wait with Mama while she cleaned up. Then we helped move the bleachers for the baseball games this weekend. It was fun to help out!

                                      

                                      

Well back in town and back to normal...and my first baseball game of the season at the Rockville Dogwood fields.

I got to run around with friends, we had a great time and we won! Woo hoo!

                                     

                                       

                                       

Well, its the day we've all been dreading...the day we have to go home! It is hot and toasty out and we sure will miss you Key West!

                                      

We were sad to leave but excited for our quick direct flight home...And then our adventure began...

                                       

Because of an air show happening later that day in Key West with the Blue Angels there was not enough fuel on the island so we had to fly to Ft. Myers to fuel up! Once we did that we were on our way to DC. Hooray!

                                      

When we thought we were about to land in DC the pilot came on and told us that there were thunder storms in DC and we had to divert to Raleigh Durham, NC!!! So our direct flight was now on its second leg! After waiting on the run way for an hour and then getting refueled...AGAIN, we finally took off and headed for home. It was a long, sad day of taking off 3 times in the same plane. We just wanted to get home...

                                        

We were also really sad because we had reservations for the soft opening of Cactus Cantina's new restaurant called Al Fresco. We were excited to try out the new place but since our 3:40 flight didn't get in until after 7 our 6pm reservation was long gone! And so...we headed to Cactus instead on our way home!

It did not disappoint even though we didn't get to try the other place. And we were just happy to be on the ground and almost home!
