This evening was a beautiful Friday night and made the field perfect!

 

Our MeMa and Pop Pop, Nana and Papi and Aunties and Uncles and cousins came to join us!

   

   

   

After the field we all came back to our house. All my buddies came over and we watched the DeMatha football game. It was AWESOME!!! It was so excited and it was a big win for DeMatha! Undefeated so far this season!

   

 

 Tonight Daddy and Mama went to the Squeeze and Psychedelic Furs concert at Wolf Trap!

 

It was a beautiful night and they had so much fun!

   

   

   

 

We stayed up until 2:30am...haha, maybe later! But this morning we slept in and Mama made us a feast for breakfast! 

We had loads of bacon and pancakes and waffles and eggs and potatoes...it was all so yummy! A great surprise for a lazy Sunday morning!

Then we all played some more video games and hung out for a while before all the boys eventually headed home.

Later we all headed to the Greek Festival. We love this time each year! We had the amazing gyro's and kielbasa and chicken and pork skewers!! So tasty!

Then we got some loukomades (greek donuts) freshly fried and honeyed right in front of us! They were a good way to end our evening...

And Mama was so happy because she finally got her baklava cheesecake! She waits all year to get a slice of this yummy cake once a year at the Greek Festival. Well worth the wait!

 Today was the Men of DeMatha cookout for all the dads, stags, grandfathers, uncles and any other male figures in the stag universe. It was a beautiful but warm day and perfect for a bbq!

I was lucky enough to have my Dad, PopPop and Papi there to celebrate with me and hang out on campus!

While Daddy and Kai were at the cookout, Mama and I took Jax to his soccer game at the Soccer Plex. It was a beautiful day and really nice in the shade. 

It was very hot in the sun and we took lots of water breaks but we still played really well. 

Sadly we didn't win but we tried our hardest and we'll try even harder next game. At least we had fun in our first game of the season!

And Mama promised us McDonald's on the way home so it was worth it!

Later all of my buddies came over for a hang out and sleepover. Conall, Liam, Albert, me, Jax and Finn all played games and ran around all night long. It was so much fun and so many laughs...it was a perfect Saturday night!

This week was spent fixing expensive things in our house that need to be fixed - air conditionings and car batteries and thank goodness for Papi and friends like Mr. Filburn who show up to help us with all of these things! And shopping for the shack and putting together grills for the shack and getting back into the swing of school and work! 

On Friday we had our first all school mass where the upperclassmen clapped the new freshmen in. It was really cool and welcoming. Daddy and Mama got to watch it online. It's going to be a great school year I think!

Later I had my first soccer game of the season. We won 7-1 and had a great time playing. It was a great game then we got to go back to the field to catch the end of Friday Night on the field with our friends and family. It's gonna be a good season!

 We left the beach bright and early this morning and boy are we glad we did. By the time we got home there was an 11 mile back up getting on to the Bay Bridge. We got home, we unpacked the car, we relaxed for a bit then we headed to Nana and Papi's to jump in the pool!

It was a hot, toasty day and some of our cousins were there playing too!

We had a great time playing but we had to get home soon after to get ready for our week at school and work. It was going to be hard to get back into the swing of things after being at the beach!

Summer please don't go! We are looking forward to a great school year and hope we can get back to the beach soon for some weekends!

 Today is a 100% glorious beach day. Such an amazing way to end the summer but it's so bitter sweet!

Mama and I attempted to take our picture in a sand heart but we couldn't get it to work, we'll have to try again next time!

Our neighbor friends were out today, our cousins Kristin, Stew and Brooke were out, Mary Jane, Uncle Jimmy and Tina, Miss Lisa and Jacob Collins...we had so many people join us on the beach and enjoy this perfect day!

The water was amazing and even Daddy spent some time out in the waves with us!

We tried to get some pictures of how big some of the waves were. Not sure the photos do it justice...

It was such a glorious day on the beach. We just didn't want it to end. PLEASE SUMMER DON"T GO!!!

We caught the last Northside Park Sunday fireworks of the season from our porch. They were really good tonight!

Then we hit Khor's Brothers for some soft serve for the first time! It did not disappoint. We will for sure be back. It was so delicious!

Then we did some last of the summer chilling on the porch. We can't believe we're going home tomorrow morning. How can summer be over already? It feels like it just began! We're so sad!
