Today is Labor Day and the very last day of the pool. It's a good thing Calverton Swim Club knows how to throw a great Family Fun Day at the pool! It was a beautiful day and a perfect day to spend at the pool. We did the obstacle courses and the inflatable slip n slide and of course the pool. And boy was that water cold! Brrr!











We also had some cotton candy and popcorn! Yippee!!

                                     





                                     

We also had some healthy lunch that Daddy packed us from home!





Then it was more running around and enjoying the festivities and some more pool time. Freezing our little bodies off!



                                     

                                     

                                     

                                     

Then we saw this creepy kid swimming around. I don't think face painting and swimming should go together...But we had a great time at the pool for our final day. Soon this awesome pool day will be a distant memory...

                                     

                                     



Later we went to Nana and Papi's house for a Labor Day cookout and to see our Aunties and little baby Cousin Chance. We had fun, ran around with the dogs and had a yummy dinner!

                                    

                                     

                                     

Papi even let me paint a ladder! He showed me how to do it and I had so much fun playing with paint!

                                     

                                     



                                      

                                     









Then we watched a little America's Funniest Home Videos and American Ninja Warriors. Two of our favorite shows. Then it was time to get home and get in bed. School starts early tomorrow morning!





                                     

We all fell asleep early. I think we're all ready for our first day of 3rd and 1st grade tomorrow! Jax will come along for moral support until he starts school on Wednesday!

                                      

                                     

It's been an amazing summer. We're sad it's over but we're ready to get back to school and our friends and the routine! Back to the grind this week...

Today we had lots of stuff to get done around the house before school starts on Tuesday so we hung around home and enjoyed each others company! We played some board games together. Then we did some playing, then Jax crashed out and Finn and I did some Lego's.



                                     

                                     



Then Joseph came over, we played some bounce house and ran around. Then we went across the street to Joseph's yard to have a BBQ with the Vallina's and some other neighbors.












While we were at our BBQ Mama was at Wolf Trap to see "I Love the 90's" with some of her mama friends. They saw lots of fun old school bands and they had lots of fun!





And we continued to have a blast! We played night time football, we ran around, we ate dinner. We just had a great time! This rainy, gloomy morning Mama made us pancakes and bacon for breakfast. We got to put whatever we wanted in them. Jax and I chose sprinkles and Kai chose chocolate chips. They were all delicious!



Then we all headed to Grandma and Granddaddy's house to hang out and play for a little while! We ran around and played and watched the Maryland football game. Then our cousins Audrey and Eli and TaTa Orly came to visit too! It was nice to see them



                                     

                                     





Later Michael J and Miss Alyssa came over and Mama grilled up some goodies! We had lamb chops and artichokes and burgers and dogs and corn on the cobb. It was a delicious feast. And of course cupcakes for dessert! It was a yummy night!

This morning we had breakfast and then headed out to Costco! I was the Costco Ninja! Me and my brothers ran around and helped Mama sample all the things they were giving away! We only convinced Mama to buy chicken meatballs and chicken sausages! Otherwise we stuck to the list!

                                     

                                     

                                     

Then we got to have pizza before heading to open gym! The pizza was HUGE and delicious! Unfortunately when we got to open gym we found out they were closed because they were still having summer camp. Boo! We were so bummed.






But before we knew it, it was time for our friend Aidan's 8th Birthday party! It was supposed to be at his pool but it is only 64 degrees and cloudy out today so the party was moved to his house. That was fine with us. We got to run around and play games and hang out. I took advantage of the Harry Potter props! Then it was time to head home. We had a delicious dinner at home and then Joseph came over and played with us. And Mrs. Vallina came to play with Mama while Daddy went to Uncle Harvey's bachelor party. They got to stay and hang out until almost 10 o'clock! It was a fun night!
