This morning Mama walked me in to see my new classroom. I'm a big kid now and I'm upstairs in the big kid hallway. All the 3rd - 5th graders are up there. It's gonna be interesting learning where things are up here like the bathroom! I was happy to get to school and see my friends today!

                                     

Mama came down to check out my classroom today too! We have to read the question of the day and put our name under the answer that we choose every morning. It's helping us learn to read. I'm excited about being a 1st grader!

                                      

                                     

Today was my first day of school finally!!! I had a good breakfast to get my strength up!

                                     

Then I showed Mama my huge back pack!

                                     

It had my lunch box in it because I get to eat lunch at school now! I'm becoming a really big kid!

                                     


                                     

Then we got to school and I was feeling a little nervous. But Mama told me it would be just fine. And so we went in and got to our regular routine! Hand washing and bathroom before going into class!

                                     

                                     

                                     

I found my name on my diving mask and Mrs. Hatcher showed me where to put it. Then I was feeling a little sad that Mama was leaving but I saw my old friend Jude and he pretended to be a robot and made me smile and that made me happy! It was good to see all my old friends and even meet some new ones!

                                     

                                     

                                     

After Mama ran all her errands she came back and spied us playing in the Great Hall. She didn't know I could see her too! It was fun to see her out there. We were running around like crazy monkeys in there. It was so much fun. And we had a great day.

                                     

                                     

I was really happy to see Mama and I'm really happy about school. It's going to be a good school year. And eating lunch went great! I ate almost everything! And then I ate my watermelon in the car that I didn't eat at school. 

                                     

                                   

Then Mama and I made a run up to Wine Costco. It was fun and they had a super big skeleton up for Halloween and I LOVED it!

                                      

                                      

When Mama and Jax came to pick us up from school Jax was passed out. And he stayed that way, even when we got home, for hours! A full day of school must have wiped him out!

                                     

We had a great night playing and having taco's for dinner and then we all played Wii. Then Jax went to relax and watch a show before it was time to go to bed. Morning will be here before we know it!

                                     

                                     

                                      

This morning we started off with a simple breakfast before our first day of school!!



And then it was go time! First day of 1st and 3rd Grade! And even Jax posed with us. Mama can not believe how big we're getting. She's kind of sad. But we were happy and excited to get to school.

                                    

                                     

                                     

My 3rd Grade teacher is Mrs. Jeffords. Mama found out later that she was our cousin Kristin's 4th grade teacher many years ago!!

I was excited to hang with my big brothers this morning too! And see all my friends that were getting ready for school. I can't wait until I go to school with my big brothers too!
                                    
                                     

Then I met up with my classmates. I was excited to see everyone. Especially my buddy Stephen! And he and I both had Minions back packs! Great minds think alike I guess!

Then it was time to go in. Mama, Daddy and Jax waved goodbye to us. We're gonna miss them but it's gonna be a fun day getting to know the new routine in our new classes.



Then i got to enjoy a tasty donut that the HSA had out for parents. There are some benefits to not starting school until tomorrow!!

                                      

When we got home Mama and I did some playing, then we went outside to play with my super hero's in the sand table. Then I played with my guys inside and before we knew it, it was time to pick my big brothers up from school! A half day on the first day of school? How lucky are they?



                                     

                                     



It was a fun first day. I got to be in class with some of my best buddies. And I'm up the stairs now in the big kid hallway with all the 3rd - 5th graders. This makes mama sad too because now I'm not in the little kid hallway. I'm looking forward to a fun 3rd grade year!





I had a super fun day too! I got to hang with my friends and I really like Ms. Bulley. We're hoping for a fun 1st grade year. This year I get to eat lunch in the cafeteria with the big kids and go to mass every Friday. Although, I don't know if I'm looking forward to that part. I'm a big kid now!





After our half day we all got to head to Mod Pizza with Liam, Emmet and Michael. We had pizza and the moms had a yummy salad. Then we got to go to Ben and Jerry's for ice cream. YUM!







                                     





Later it sure looked like it was going to storm but there was still soccer practice. We got out there and started our practice. Then the sky got super dark and just as we were about to scrimmage a bolt of lightening struck. And that was that. We all ran for our cars. And then the sky really opened up. Oh well, practice was fun while it lasted!







                                     

Then I got to help Mama make our whole dinner! And it turned out delicious. Now it's time to get showered and lunches started and get ready for a whole, full day of school tomorrow!
