Today Mama and I went to the Surplus store so I could find some elements to my military based Halloween Costume. We forgot to take pictures in the store but we did get a picture of this model out in the front door...

                                    

Then we went to Wendy's for lunch. It's the first time I've ever been to a Wendy's. And Mama was excited to have a baked potato. She said she hasn't had one in a long time!

                                    

                                     

Then we made a stop at Shoppers to get some corn bread to take to Nana and Papi's house for our chili dinner!

                                    

When we got to Nana and Papi's house Papi showed us all of his and Uncle Raymond's old Army uniforms. We got to see his dress uniform and his regular uniform and we even got to try on a really heavy bullet proof vest!

                                    

                                    

I was really impressed with Papi's medals! That was a really neat thing to check out!

                                    

                                    

We got to hang out with Baby Caleb. He was so cute bouncing around in his little chair. And I even made him laugh and smile.

                                     

                                    

                                     



Then we went to the Pub to meet the Coll's so that we could hang out with them and I could go home with Liam for a sleep over. It was a great Sunday. And we're so excited that we have one more day of weekend. God I love long weekends!

Today we headed over the Bay Bridge to get our last fix of crabs at Fisherman's Crab Deck on Kent Island before their season ends tomorrow...







It's hard to tell from these bad pictures but when we got there we discovered that all of Kent Island was underwater! And everything was closed! The combination of a full moon and high tide caused coastal flooding that wreaked havoc on the eastern shore, much to our dismay!





So we headed back over the bridge and to Mike's on Riva Road to see if we could get in there! Miss Alyssa, Michael J, Miss Heather and the Collins Family all met us for some crabby fun!

                                    

The water was pretty high here too, even a little water inside the restaurant and most of the back decks were under water but they were still open and still serving so we decided to wait...

                                     

                                     

And wait...and play and run around like fools...

                                    

                                     

                                     

                                    

And look at the tooth I lost and all the loose teeth in my mouth...

                                   

And we waited some more. And took more pictures...

                                     

                                     

And we saw an awesome rainbow! It was the perfect thing to see tonight!

                                    

                                     

                                     

     





                                     

                                     

We finally got sat and ordered just about everything on the menu. Including lots and lots of large crabs and boy were they good!!



                                    







It was a great night despite the waiting. We made the best of it and had a great Saturday night!

                                    


The water was still pretty high when we left. We hope it goes down for them by tomorrow!

                                    

                                    

This morning Mama headed out bright and early to the Sligo Golf course for the St. Bernadette golf tournament while the rest of us slept in and had a nice hooky day. It was a half day of school so we didn't miss much!

                                    

It was a gorgeous day and after going to visit Uncle Harvey we surprised Mama on hole 2 of the course!

                                    

                                    

                                    

We loved riding in the golf cart. That was the best part! 

                                    

                                    

My favorite part was Daddy letting me drive the cart!! I did a great job.

                                    

                                    

                                     

It was a great surprise for Mama and for us. Even seeing Mr. Ewanciw wasn't so bad since he wasn't mad that we weren't in school.





                                     



Then our Papi came to meet us up at the course. And we rode around in a cart and had lunch together! It was so fun

                                    

                                    

                                    

                                    

Later Michael J came to hang on the porch with us. Then we all headed to Friday night on the field. And we didn't even take one picture on the field. Booo! But you can be sure it was a wonderful night with friends and family!
