Today, sadly, while we were at school, Mama went to her cousin Wesley's funeral. It was sad but afterward they had a celebration. And after school Mama picked us up and brought us to be with all our family.

                                    

                                    

                                    





We went to the American Legion in Wheaton and we took over. We ate dinner and we ran around with cousins and we had fun and we spent time with family. 







It was a good night to spend time with our family. 

                                    





When we got home we all showered and I took a nice, warm bath! Mama thinks I'm a silly goose!

                                     

                                    

                                    

Today is Daddy's Birthday HOORAY! For dinner we took him to Medium Rare in Cleveland Park.




It was right up our alley! Steak, french fries, salad...what's not to like?

                                     


                                     

Everything was so delicious and easy! The bread was great, the salad was simple without too many tomatoes and the steak was good with and without the sauce! It was the perfect pick for all of us!

                                    



And for dessert, we picked the ice cream sundae! And it was a great choice!! The whipped cream reached almost to the ceiling. It was the perfect end to the night and Daddy's birthday. Happy 48th Birthday Daddy, we love you!

                                    

Today Mama made lots and lots of crown cookies for Jax's class. He is having an Epiphany party in his class tomorrow. I remember the good old days of being in 1st grade!





Mama decorated all the cookies. They looked really nice. I can't wait to eat them tomorrow at our party! I know exactly which one I want!







I even got to go to my friend Alexis' house for a little while so her and my mom could have a meeting. It's nice when your friends live in your neighborhood and it's so easy to get to their house!

                                    

Later Daddy and I worked on my Lego set that I got for Christmas!



It turned out GREAT! I was really proud of Jax doing so well on his Legos. I even helped him a bit. I love Legos too!

Last night my buddy Stephen got to have a sleep over. And this morning Mama made us pancakes with my emoji pancake makers! They were so yummy!

                                    



Then it was time for basketball! My practice and scrimmage was first. I did great and had a really fun time!

                                   

                                    

                                     

                                     

Later it was time for my game. We played St. Andrew the Apostle at Francis Scott Key Middle School. Our game started 45 minutes late but once it got started we had fun! And I was super happy b/c Stephen got to come watch us play!









Later Mama went to make Lumpia with her girlfriends! It looks like they had way too much fun!! We can't wait to eat the lumpia they made!









                                     



                                    

This morning Mama took us to the bakery to get donuts. But the bakery was still closed for their holiday break...

                                   

Thank goodness for 7-11!! We all got a donut. It sure made going to school on this chilly morning a little sweeter!

                                    

Today we did a whole lot of nothing. We all slept in very late since we stayed up so late last night. Then we got to go to MeMa and PopPop's house for a yummy New Year's Day dinner.



                                    

We were so happy to hang out by the fire and relax with MeMa and PopPop. We got to check out their pretty Christmas tree and relax before heading back to school tomorrow!



                                    

It was a great night hanging out with our Grandparent's!
