Today we worked on our popsicle stick pirate ships. It was a lot more work than we expected but thankfully Mama thought to use the hot glue gun so that we didn't have to wait for the regular glue to dry.



Then we got a surprise visit from my buddy Michael and his brother Shaw and his dad. It was nice to chat from the door. We sure are missing each other!

                                            

                                             

                                             

We had lots of fun working on our ships. Even Daddy got in on the fun and helped glue stuff while Mama cut pieces of popsicle sticks for our next steps.

                                             

                                             

                                             

When we were done with the ships I got to have a zoom play date with Michael. We played Roblocks together and had a nice chat. It was nice to see him in person today!



I was really proud of my finished ship! Mama said it looked great. Tomorrow I want to see if it will float or not!



Then it was time to make our Peruvian marinated chicken from Founding Farmers. It sure smelled good...



And boy did it turn out great! It was so yummy. And Mama thought we got too much...

                                             

                                             

                                              

But after these boys got through with it, there was only one piece of chicken left! It was that good and we eat that much!!

                                              

I was really happy with my ship too! I did a USA flag, an (modified) Ecuador flag and a French flag. My flags were just all over the world! And I loved them!

This morning Mama took a picture of me because she said my bed head hair looked crazy! She was right!

                                              

Mama went to get this week's pick up from Founding Farmers and everything looks good as usual! We did get a few new items this week. Some prepared foods that we can't wait to try!



It was such a gorgeous day. Daddy served us home made sausage, egg and cheese muffins al fresco for breakfast. Then we just hung out on the porch and outside ALL DAY!

                                             

We played with scooters and cars and running around and it was just so much fun. Then Daddy and Mama told us we had to wait to see if the Blue Angels flew by our house to honor the first responders, medical professionals and essential workers...

                                             

                                           


And believe it or not Mama got this amazing video of them flying right over our house! It was SO COOL!

Then it was time for Mama to squeeze some fruit and make some drinks for her and Daddy. The bar was open!

                                             

                                              

They sure looked good! Too bad they were for adults only!

                                             

Then we all got to go to Liam and Emmett's house to jump on their trampoline. We all stayed far enough apart from each other and only played outside. When we were done we enjoyed some social distancing chats in the shade. It was really  nice to connect with some friends that we really miss!



I got to come home and play on the splash pad. It felt so great! Then I got a visit from a special pooch...Lola!

                                             

                                              

                                             



She was so cute and she loved to play in the water with me and lick my wet feet.



                                            

She sure is a cute, sweet dog to play with. It's so nice to have neighbor visits!
                                          
                                             

                                             

Later we drove to see if the car wash was open. It wasn't but when we drove by my best friend Stephen's house they were outside!!! We were so excited to see each other and chat for a little while. 







Then we went home and made our chicken wings and  ravioli that we got from Founding Farmers. Everything was SO GOOD! We are killing it with these amazing dinners we're having these days!


                                              

                                              

Today was a gorgeous, sunny day, FINALLY!!!! Mama decided that we were spending the day outside. ALL DAY. Schoolwork or no schoolwork! And I was really excited because my buddy Anthony's Dad drove him by to drop off dessert for our dessert face time scheduled for later this evening and I got to chat with him from the yard. Social distancing is so weird!

                                             

                                             

Later I had to work on my next science experiment and it had to do with making a foil boat, seeing if it would float and how many pennies it would take to make it sink! Later we went out to Laurel to pick up our curb side grocery pick up from Walmart. On the way home we stopped to drop off some things that we ordered for MeMa and PopPop. And we were just so happy to get to see them in person! We sure do miss hugging our people!

                                             

                                             

But it was fun to talk to them for a little while in the yard! 

                                              

                                             

                                             

Then we went to pick up our Five Guys burgers for our Friday night special dinner. It was so yummy and a great special surprise!

                                             



Then I got to have my dessert face time with my buddy Anthony. And I got to eat the chocolate chip cookies that he dropped off for me! 

                                              

Then we played with our light sabres! It was so fun!

                                            

Then it was time for our Friday night dance party. The new tradition in our house! It was so much fun and we got to dance off some of that Five Guys we just ate. 





We danced and had lots of fun. We can't wait until next Friday's dance party!!
