Today was another near perfect day on the beach! Except that the water was frigid in comparison to yesterday! That was disappointing but it didn't stop us!! 

                                 

The Coll's joined us on the beach and we all boogie boarded and played in the water!

                                 

Then we all got started on our epic fortress! Everyone got involved, even Daddy and Mr. Coll helped us!

                                 

Then it was time for more fun in the water! I can usually play in the water all day long!

And then back to the building! We made two cool areas and only the front part was breeched by the water! The rest really held up and it was a great group effort!

                                

After a long, hot day at the beach we all headed back and had some great pool time. It was lovely and just what the doctor ordered!

Then we headed back to the beach for more fun in the sand and sun. And to check on our sand fort.

                                 

It needed a few touch ups but it was still in good shape!

                                

                                 

Later we all dried up. The Coll's went home and we got all dried up and put on dry clothes. I hung outside with Mama while she grilled up our steaks for dinner!

                                 

Everything turned out great and we got to have dinner on the screened in porch. It was a great family night!

                                  

Today we got out on the beach for the first time. The water was so perfect and clear. And it was SO warm. So warm that Mama and Daddy spent almost the entire day out there with us! 

                                

                                

We enjoyed the surf and the sand and I even found some sand crabs! They ticked my hands. I love catching them! I couldn't catch any ghost crabs though! They're too fast and sneaky for me...

                                  

                                 

                                

                                 

                                 

It was a gorgeous day. Hot but beautiful and the water was just perfect to cool us all off. 

                                  

The colors were brilliant and so inviting. The beach looked like a post card!

                                  

After lunch we spent more time on the beach. We finally headed back to the house to make some dinner and chill.

                

                                

                                  

                                  

Later, Liam and Emmett came back for some more night swimming. We even got to have ice cream sandwiches by the pool! It was great!

                                

Then we all dried off and played some electronics in the play room. It was a great day in Duck!

This morning was THE morning! We got up early, Daddy got the car all packed up and we hit the road! It was a smooth, quick ride to Duck and when we got there the weather was PERFECT! We got our suits on and hit the pool while Daddy and Mama unpacked. We were SO excited to be at MeMa and PopPop's beautiful beach house!

                                  

As soon as the unpacking was done Daddy and Mama joined us in the pool. It was great and the water was perfect!

                                

                                 

                               

Later our friends the Coll's came over and joined us in the pool. It was so great and they loved it too.

We stayed in the pool until long into the night. It was very hot and muggy out and the pool felt great. And the lights are so much fun. It was a great first night in Duck!

 Last night some of my friends were supposed to come over for an outdoor movie to celebrate my birthday. Alex had a sore throat so he had to stay home, Stephen is away and the forecast called for rain so we decided to postpone for when we get back from vacation and everyone can join me! So today I dropped off the donuts that I bought for my friends so they didn't all sit in our house! Jake was super excited to get his. And his mom gave me a birthday present that they got me! That was really nice!

                                

Later I got to join my friend Liam Highfill for his zoom baseball card birthday party! It was fun to see some of my friends and have some laughs. And learn a little about baseball cards!

                                   

Then later we were planning to set the screen up outside and play video games with Liam and Emmett in the driveway but then it started thundering and lightening and the sky opened up. So while the adults hung out on the front porch, we got to play video games in the living room. It was super fun!
