Then we hit a few more stores and I got to snuggle with all the cute things we saw. And try out all the furniture!

Then we went downtown to meet up with Daddy and have a family Christmas adventure! Our first stop was the US Botanical Gardens. We love that place! The tree was beautiful and all of the monuments and buildings made of natural materials were amazing!

Then we checked out all the trains and cool Route 66 landmarks made of natural materials. It was all so cool. We loved it.

Then we headed over to the Capitol Christmas Tree. It was beautiful! There were lots of people out there and some guys riding unicycles!! It never gets old to see that awesome tree!

Or playing on the Capitol lawn!

And the coolest is running around the Capitol when it's empty. It's like we own the place!

Then we got to check out the Capitol gingerbread replica. It was amazing. We got some great ideas for our gingerbread houses!

And the rotunda at night when it's quiet and void of tourists is pretty amazing too!

Then it was off to Union Station. We talked a lot about the last time we came downtown with Grandma. We loved to come downtown with her and see the sights. We always had such a fun time! And we always checked out the museums and tourists spots together.

Union Station looked beautiful and the tree and trains inside were amazing.

Then we went to Pizzeria Uno for dinner and we got to make our own pizzas! It was super yummy and kids eat free on Tuesday's! We sure picked the right night to go there. And our waitress was super nice and brought us all kinds of toys and prizes! It was a great night and one of our favorite family Christmas traditions. We can't wait for Christmas!
