Today is Easter Sunday and things are truly different today! We started our day with an Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt. It started on the counter and the clues quickly had us moving outside...

                                              



                                             

We did a great job of working together on the clues so we could find the next eggs...

                                             

                                              

We all got to read some of the clues so we could find our next egg. Some had candy in them and some had money in them!! We're so lucky!
                              
                                              

                                              

                                             

When we got back from the scavenger hunt we followed the clues to our Easter baskets!! Then we watched Easter Sunday mass from our couch. That was not too shabby!!





Then we got a surprise Easter visit from MeMa and PopPop!! We were so happy to see them. And MeMa made us a Boston Cream ice box cake for our Easter dessert. We can't WAIT to dig in to that tonight!

                                             

                                              

                                              

                                             

Later we opened up our bubbles from our baskets. It was a windy day so we didn't have to do any work getting the bubbles blown. It was so much fun and we had tons of bubbles!!

                                              

                                             

                                             

                                             





Later it was time to prep and make our special shelter in place Easter Dinner!



Mama used our dyed eggs for deviled eggs...yum!

                                              

Then we got to watch the baby birds take their first flights!! It was so amazing!





Then I got to help Mama make dinner. It was fun!

                                             

                                              

And then it was time to eat! Wow, what a spread we had! Grilled lamb chops, broccoli cheese casserole, carrots, rolls, mac n cheese, deviled eggs. We couldn't have asked for anything better. We are so lucky to have good food on the table and although we couldn't be with our extended family today, at least we got to be together. Happy Easter Everyone!















And the dessert was to die for!! YUM!
