Today was scheduled to be a balmy 60 degrees (IN DECEMBER) so our friends, the Filburn's, invited us for one last voyage on their awesome boat before they wrap it up and take it out of the water for the winter!

When we got to the marina we did a little magnet fishing. Looking for anything magnetic we can find in the water. We "caught" some old screws and fish hooks but nothing too exciting. It was still fun though!
Then it was time to hit the high seas! It was a beautiful day and we were super excited!
But once we got moving the warm air disappeared and it was CHILLY! especially down wind! I think Daddy was wishing he would have brought his coat with him like Mama told him to! We sure are glad that Mama brought our sweatshirts and coats!
The Bay Bridge looked great with the huge car carrier hauling underneath it as we sped by!
Then we saw the massive cargo tankers! There were SO many lined up out there. We assume they're heading to Baltimore.
We couldn't believe how massive the tankers were and close we were to them. They were pretty amazing to look at.
In a mere 15-20 minutes we were pulling up to Kentmorr Restaurant in Stevensville...
It was lovely outside on the grounds of the restaurant! We got to run around and explore and play!
We had a great view of the Bay Bridge. And the sky was such a beautiful backdrop!
After a super yummy lunch of oysters many ways, cream of crab soup and all kind of other goodies it was time to head back to the marina. But first we had to feed the ducks!
And take a few family shots! They turned out great. The scenery helped!
Time to set sail! This time Mrs. Filburn gave us down comforters to cover up with so we were toasty warm on high speeds on the way home.
We had the best time ever!
We were so lucky to get one last day on the boat with our friends. And the sky put on a show for us at the end of the day. It was our parting gift from the marina we guess...
We did a little more magnet fishing, Finn tried some real fishing (but he had no bait on his hook...)
Then we played a little pickle ball to end the evening! It was lots of fun!
On the way home we decided to take a little cruise through town to see the Christmas lights and decorations. Main street was hopping. Lots of people inside and outside of the bars, restaurants and shops...
This shop was my favorite because it had penguins in the windows!! I sure do love my penguins!
When we got home we headed over to the Coll's for even MORE fun! The parents hung outside by the fire pit...
While the kids sat in their new screened in porch to watch a movie! This mild weather sure is making hanging outside manageable! And it was so much fun!
When we left the Coll's we decided to take a drive up to the tree to see if our cool 3D light glasses work on the tree lights. And they sure did!! It was SO COOL! And boy was it a big day. We can't wait to sleep in tomorrow!
