All the kids at school talk about Taki's so today we had a Taki taste test at home...

Some were a bit lime-y some were a bit spicy but all in all we like them...Personally, I'll stick with Doritos!
Later we went to Nana and Papi's to check out the guy that was there to cut up the huge pieces of wood that came from the Takoma Park house...
The logs are HUGE and this machine was so awesome! We've never seen anything like it!
While the guys worked and we watched we also ran around and played all around Nana and Papi's yard.
It was so cool to watch the machine in action and see how they make "slices" in the giant trees!
The grains in the wood are so beautiful and once the slices are dried and sealed we bet they're going to look amazing! It will be awesome to have tables and benches made from the history of the house that Papi and Mama and our family grew up in!
Even little Caleb came to join the fun and see the action! He thought it was super cool too!
Then we got to have lunch together! Subs from Ledo's! YUM!
Then I got a battle scar! It hurt but I'm tough so I didn't say it hurt...
Then we helped Papi do a little bit of clean up and he and Nana even paid us for our hard work!
Later we went to the Filburn's house for our Leprechaun Hunt!
First we made sticker leprechauns...I may or may not have used some of the stickers on myself!
We hung out with friends and explored and played some basketball and played games. It was a beautiful day!
Then it was time for the hunt! We had lots of clues and we had to figure them out together!
Even the parents had to be involved in clue giving. It was so fun and so creative!
We all worked together and figured out the clues as a team! We did a great job.
We found amazing treasures (candy) and some coins!! It was so much fun!
The Filburns sure know how to plan a fun afternoon! We had an awesome time!
Then we all got to do a little bit of hot tubbing! It felt wonderful! What a perfect Saturday!
