This morning Jax woke up not feeling great so he and Daddy stayed home while Mama took Finn and I downtown to catch the St. Patrick's Day Parade! 

 

We decided to park ourself in the same spot as last year in front of the Johnny's Pizza shopping Center. It was so nice out and we had our own bench and Mama let us get some yummy food to chomp on while we waited for the parade to start!

   

   

   

There were lots of people hanging around. Beer and cocktails to buy, cookies and treats. It was a nice set up and we had our own space so it was great! And it wan't freezing cold like it was last time!

   

WBOC was on the scene, reporting all the activity with the parade!

                                        

                                           

The parade finally started. They had bagpipers and musicians and Hogan and his people and K-Coast, etc etc...

   

   

   

   

The parade was fun and all but after just being in New Orleans for Mardi Gras, there will never be a float or parade comparison. This was just OC fun!

                                         

                                       

   

                                        

After we had our fill of the parade we decided to head back home and enjoy some beach time on this beautiful afternoon!

   

                                      

I was feeling better and ready to hang outside with the fam so we all packed a few things up and headed for the sand!

   

   

   

There were lots of people out there enjoying the sunny, mild day in March!

                                        

                                      

These fools came walking up the beach and believe us, it was not warm enough to be in your bathing suit and no shirts. That sun felt good but that air was chilly!

                                      

       

                                        

   

 

Daddy perfectly poured he and Mama some Guinness to enjoy on the beach. Nothing better than a Guinness in the sand! According to Mama and Daddy anyway...

 

We played around a bit more and enjoyed the day. Then we headed back to the house and got ready for dinner at Blue Fish!! Yum Yum!

   

                                        

   

But first Mama took a passing photo of Roses before it's gone! End of an era!

   

We didn't get any photos of our delicious sushi but we did get a photo of this beautiful multi layered ube cake. It was so delicious and our dinner was great, as always at Blue Fish!
