Later Daddy came home because he was sick with strep throat so while he and Jax napped, Mama and I headed up to Harris Teeter to find something tasty to bring to Kai's class tomorrow to celebrate his birthday with his class. We found a tasty looking cake. I even convinced Mama to bring home a slice of carrot cake for Kai and I to share for dessert tonight!

Wanna know who ate the most carrot cake? JAX! He loved it. What's not to like?

When I got home my brothers and I did lots of playing really nicely together. We made towers (all over Mama's dining room), we made project in the kitchen, we ran around and then there was a big thunder storm! We heard a super loud bang, like an explosion, out the back door and Mama thought a tree limb was hit and fell in our back yard. It turns out that a small tree right behind our gate in the back yard was struck by lightening! It's a good thing the big tree behind it wasn't hit or Mama said that it would have been on Colesville Road and probably cutting down power lines! It was a loud and scary storm. We could even smell the burning smell from the tree all the way up at our back door! Then we had dinner and it stopped raining so Daddy took Lucy for a walk. Then Mother Nature decided to play a little trick on Daddy and Lucy because when they were as far away from the house as they could be, she opened up the sky again and it poured and poured. We got towels and stuff ready and waited for Daddy and Lucy to come home. They were soaked! Then my brothers and I all got hair cuts, took showers and went to bed. 1 more day of school for me and then it's graduation day and MY BIRTHDAY!!

That balloon thing is genius!
