This morning we had a slower start but we were still excited to head to school! We saw lots of friends on the way into the building and then we practiced all walking to Finn's class so that I can get the hang of walking him down the hall when Mama stops walking us in. It was the start to another great day!

                

                

                

After we dropped the boys off we headed to Grandma's house. And we got a nice surprise because Uncle Jon was there too!! We all got to hang out and play and run around like crazy monkeys! It was a fun visit but then we had to go because I needed a nap and we had to go pick up the big boys from school!

It was another great school day! I had lots of fun and got to go to art class! Kai had a really good day too and he got to go to the library. We didn't see each other at recess again today. I wonder if we'll get to have recess together at all this year. Maybe mama can find out. But I did make some new friends today and played with some other kids in my class and that's always a good thing. Kai and I also ate every bite of our lunches today. We must have been hungry!

                

                

                

Later I helped Mama cook some shrimp on the grill. Those sneaky squirrels threw acorns at us while we grilled! The shrimp were so tasty! It was a delicious dinner!!

                 

                 

                

Day number 2! And this is the one that counts. A whole, full day. 8am - 3pm!! We all walked Kai to his class and then Mama and Jax walked me down to my classroom. I hung my backpack and lunch box up and then sat down to do some playing. I felt right at home and totally comfortable. I think Mama was the one that was sad to leave...

                 

                

                

                

                 

                 

Once we dropped the big boys off Mama and I went to run some errands. We went to Trader Joe's. Then we headed to Home Depot to get some white paint for the trim around the front door and to repaint our front porch gate. We did more by 9am than most people!

                 

                 

                  

                 

                

                 

I "helped" Mama do a little bit of painting. Then I had a little snack lunch before heading to Costco with Mama and Daddy.

                 

Well, today went well for Finn and I! We had a good day but it was a long day! We did lots of work in my class and lots of writing. It's going to take a little bit of time to get back into the school routine but it's going to be fun. Finn and I both had music today and it was great! I think this is going to be a great school year. And we were both really happy to see Mama and Daddy there to pick us up from school!

Later Mama had to go out so Daddy fed us all, got us in a shower and ready for bed early. When Mama got home she put on Alice in Underwear (Alice in Wonderland) for us to watch. We've been wanting to see it. So we snuggled up and watched the movie before heading to bed. Tomorrow is another full school day. I think it's going to be a good one!

It was an early start to our day today but we all got up and got ready and Mama said we looked so handsome in our uniforms! We had some breakfast and then took some pictures in front of the house before we headed to school.

                

                 

                 

                 

 

We were one of the first ones to line up for our class! Mrs. Smith seems very nice and I was happy to see all of my old friends. And even a few new ones! I'm sad that Ricky's not in my class this year but we'll see each other at recess every day. And honestly, what's better than hanging with your best buds at recess?



                 

                

                

After Kai and all the big kids went into their classrooms we hung around out front where the HSA coffee and donut reception was taking place. It was the perfect spot! I made out like a bandit!! Then we waited until it was time to take Finn inside.

Then it was in to the classroom where we got to meet Mrs. Zagone and all of my new classmates. We got to play and explore our classroom and then we all went outside to play. Well it was my lucky day because Kai and all of his 2nd grade classmates were already outside for recess. It was so fun to run around with some Kindergarteners and 2nd graders. We played cops and robbers!

                 

                



                 

                

Then we brought Finn home with us. It sure was the shortest first day of Kindergarten I've ever seen. When do I get to hang out with Mama and Daddy alone? Daddy headed to work and then Mama took us to Home Depot so we could help pick out a new color for our front door. Mama has decided that she wants a blue door...but not just any blue...

                 

Then everyone picked me up from school. It was a half day so no lunch or snacks. I was really excited to see Finn and Jax. Tomorrow and from here on out Finn will be dismissed with me and Mama and Jax will pick both of us up! Then we headed to McDonald's for our customary half day lunch!

I was so in the spirit of painting after that I had Mama get out my dot painters so I could continue the fun!!

                

                

Then the day got a hold of me and out I went. In Mama's arms, much to her delight. That doesn't happen too often anymore!

                

Then we went to our friend Joseph's to play for a little while. We broke up boxes and ran around outside until we were too sweaty and headed in to play inside for a little bit.

                 

Then we all called Grandma to tell her how our first day of school went. Of course Jax took over. He always does!
