Then it was time to hit the road. We packed up the car and got into our seats, got comfy and cozy and headed down the road to the beach. We can't wait for our week at the beach with Daddy!! Hooray!
It was looking a little cloudy on our way here but it was nice and sunny at the beach! When we got there Grandma and Granddaddy had a present for Finn's birthday and we got to sing to him with candles in a super yummy donut! Finn sure is having a great birthday weekend!
Then we decided we'd hit the pool instead of going to the beach today since it was already afternoon by the time we got ready to head out. It was a gorgeous pool day and the water was great!

Later we all went inside to take a rest and then it was time to head to Ropewalk for some fun!
We had some snacks and ran around and played and had some slushy drinks and had fun. Then we headed over to the adirondack chairs to chill out.
I did some dancing and booty shaking to the live band. They were pretty good. Then Kai went to the bar to watch the China vs. USA Olympic basket ball game. USA won!! USA! USA!
It was actually a beautiful evening at Ropewalk. A breeze, nice and warm but not too warm. It was perfect. And what put the cherry on top? We got to see a spectacular sun set! It was a perfect first day at the beach with our family!
