Today Mama got us into the car and on the road to Lancaster, PA to hit the Turkey Hill Experience!

It was super cool to check out the museum area. All of the fun facts and tasting their lemonade and iced tea!
We got to test taste some yummy flavors! and our friend Jake and his parents joined us for the fun!
Then it was time to hit the taste lab and to make our own ice cream flavors!
First we got our instructions. We got to check out the flavors and the mix ins...
Then we got our pints of vanilla and it was time to get to work! I made cherry ice cream with a marshmallow swirl, animal crackers, pretzels and reece's pieces. Jax made cotton candy ice cream with chocolate covered pretzels and gummy bears with a marshmallow swirl. Kai made banana ice cream with chocolate chips and toffee chips. Mama made the best ice cream (her opinion) - she made coconut ice cream with coconut shavings, pecans, toffee chips and a caramel and butterscotch swirl.
It was such a yummy treat and we made it ourselves!!
That's Mama's ice cream...it even looks like the best one!
We had a ton of fun and we might even have to come back soon!
Afterward we hit a diner that was empty for lunch. It was perfect. BLT's and burgers and grilled reubens! It was a great stop!
Then it was time to head home. And we got to drive through some really pretty country! Lots of corn fields and lots of green! And lots of fresh air. What a great day!
