This morning we woke up and hit the breakfast buffet! Wow they had so much to choose from! Pastries and donuts and eggs and omelettes and sushi and cereal and french toast and churros and on and on and on!

                                   

                                  

We felt very fancy drinking our orange juice from our wine goblets!

                                    

                                   

Then we went outside and saw a peacock on our way to the pools and beach! 

                                  

   

And our first stop was the lazy river! The water was chilly but we got used to it and it was so much fun!!

                                  

                                  

   

   

Then we hopped in the "sport" pool. That was fun too! and just the right size for us!

                                   

                                    

Then we hit the bar...virgin daiquiris all around! Or at least for the kids! Daddy and Mama had other ideas!

                                    

                                     

                                   

                                   

                                  

Then it was time to hit the wave pool! It was AMAZING! The waves were awesome and it was so much fun. I think we'll be spending a lot of time here this week.

                                   

                                   

   

Then it was off to the water slides! There is so much fun to be had around here! It's amazing!

                                    

                                    

And we caught a glimpse of this guy on our way back down through the resort! We got close but not too close!

                                   

                                  

                                   

We got to have lunch at a place called Under the Sea! They had all these super cool sea creatures all made out of items found dumped in the ocean. It was very cool to see treasures made from trash!

                                    

 

Our waiter made us these napkin bows...they were hilarious!

                                       

                                     

                                    

Then it was time to hit the beach. What a spectacular view. The water was perfection and the weather was pretty perfect too!

                                  

                                    

   

   

   

It was a perfect day. How could you ask for any more?

                                   

                                  

We all were in the water today for sure. It was so pleasant and didn't even take any getting used to!

                                   

                                    

                                   

It was warm and the water was perfect and the sun was shining. It was exactly what you wish for on vacation!

                                  

                                    

                                    

                                   

And of course the strawberry daiquiris were flowing freely!

                                  

Later as we made our way back towards the pools we saw this crazy monkey who jumped up on the bar and started stealing the fruit!! The bartender had to hide the fruit!

                                   

That creeper was also walking around like the cat in the hat and that was just downright weird!

                                   

                                    

Then he made himself at home on a lounge chair and ate his bananas...

                                   

                                    

                                   

Then it was right back into the wave pool for us!

                                   

                                    

And then back into what we dubbed it the "warm pool"!

                                    

                                   

For dinner tonight we ate at the Mexican restaurant. They made amazing, fresh guacamole at our table!

                                   

   

Sadly that and the strawberry daiquiris were the best part of the meal. It's weird that the Mexican restaurant didn't have a very good dinner. Oh well, at least it's only day two and we don't have reservations at this restaurant for the rest of the week!

Later we hit the main lobby for some music, shopping and drinks and who can keep their eyes off of the amazing snake sculpture coming through the ceiling!? It was a great night!
