And now it was time to get ready for our trip to MEXICO!!! And Look what Nana and Papi gave us to take with us!!! Woo Hoo!
At long last our trip that we planned months and months ago was finally here! It was a super early morning. We had to leave the house at 5am but we got to the airport with plenty of time...
We had a snack at the airport before our flight. It sure was a cold morning at home. We can't wait to get to the warm sunshine in Mexico!
And off we go!
The flight was fun and uneventful and then we saw the blue waters of the Caribbean Sea appearing out our windows! Hooray!
It sure was a long day getting here but we finally arrived at the Iberostar Resort in Riviera Maya and so far the lobby is beautiful and all of the hotel staff are super friendly! We can't wait to get to our rooms, drop our things and get our bathing suits on to hit the beach!
We got a ride to the pool from a golf cart. That was super fun!
Then it was time to explore the many pools and cool things on the resort! It was so big we'll never find our way around here!
On our way out the path to the beach we met these little cuties! They looked like a mix between a lemur and an ant eater and a raccoon. They were super friendly!
And off we went to the beautiful beach! Ahhh heaven!
The water was so clear and warm and lovely! We all got right in!
Hooray for vacation! What a beautiful spot!
This little guy wanted a treat. We didn't have anything for him but he was trying.
For dinner we had a reservation at the Hibachi restaurant. It was like dinner and a show! It was so fun and the food was delicious!!
We were all EXHAUSTED after a full day of traveling but it was all worth it. Dinner was so yummy but we couldn't wait to go to bed!
That was Carlos, the rice duck. He was delicious too!
Our chef was so talented and we really had so much fun. It was a great way to start the trip!
