The grounds were amazing! This home was built in 1920 on 56 acres of land. It now sits on about 3 acres and it is stunning. The grounds, the foliage, the secret paths and pools and fountains and vegetable gardens. We can't even imagine what 56 acres would have looked like! We had so much fun getting lost in the maze like paths, playing tag and football in the huge open gardens and just enjoying being outside on this last mild day of winter. We have a feeling it's going to get quite cold from here on out. We can't wait to come back in the Spring when all of the beautiful flowers and trees are in bloom...

These amazing chairs played string quartet music when you sat on them!!

There were still some confused flowers and lots of lettuce and kale and other winter plants in full bloom!

Daddy decided to take a picture of us with Mama. They turned out really nice. But then Mama asked a nice girl to take a picture of all of us. And that turned out even better!!

Then it was time to find our way out of the gardens. It sure was a fun adventure today!

Then we drove a few blocks further into downtown Georgetown. We parked the car and did some walking around before heading over to J. Paul's for Linner. We had lots of fun and a delicious meal! I even ate some oysters with Mama and Daddy today! And we had some delicious shrimp and crab cakes. It was a special meal. Even Mama and Daddy had a special drink to celebrate our fun day and the end of our awesome winter staycation!

Then it was time to head home. I sure did like the way this bank looked so I asked Mama to take a picture. We sure are lucky to have had such great adventures these last two weeks. We have really made the most out of our city. We can't wait to explore some more soon!!
