And this is how Mama started her morning...

We finally convinced Daddy and Mama to take us outside to play in the blizzard! It was windy and snowing and blowing and cold. We trudged over to our friends Aidan and Rowan's house. It was a rough walk. Mama pulled Jax on the sled and Daddy helped Finn and I get over there. The snow was so deep, it was so hard to walk. We were exhausted by the time we got there!

Once we got to our friends house we had lots of fun exploring their fort. We climbed through the tunnels and ran around and the big boys tried to sled but this snow isn't made for sledding. There were a few times that I was over it when that wind started whipping all the falling snow into our faces. That was NOT fun! But, I did have a really great time!

Then we came home to decompress! I climbed into Mama and Daddy's bed to watch a show and snuggle up. And I took an EPIC nap! Daddy and Mama's bed sure is comfy!

Later all of our friends braved the blizzard conditions, the wind, the falling snow, the snow drifts, to come hang out and have a fun filled blizzard party! Emmet, Liam, Michael, oh and their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Coll and Miss Alyssa, came over. All the kids ran around like maniacs. We played a little iPad, Emmet and Michael played outside for a while.

We ate dinner and snacks, we did some MAJOR bounce house jumping, we played some Wii, the adults drank wine and ate snacks and talked and talked...blah, blah, blah. We all had such a great night. Who knew how much fun a snow storm could be!

Then it was time for our friends to leave. They had to get all of their gear on and trudge home late at night. It was chaos, but fun chaos! And when we opened the door we couldn't believe that the snow was slowing down and we could actually see the moon!! The sky was clearing up for the first time in 3 days!
