Our first stop in Philly was the Cheesesteak Challenge between the famous Philadelphia establishments Pat's and Geno's. Well, we tasted them both. Pat's had provolone and onions and was dry and not very tasty. Geno's had the cheese wiz and onions.

And the winner is GENO'S! It was so much tastier and juicer and the cheese wiz wasn't yucky like we thought it would be. The bread was softer and we just liked it better all around!

Next stop was the hotel! We checked in, ate a complimentary apple realized we are literally across the street from the doors to Reading Market and then...

We hit the indoor pool!! Daddy and Mama said it was the nicest indoor pool they've seen since our stay in Chicago. It was clean and only a little chlorined out. It was so much fun playing and splashing and jumping in! We had a great time.

A little brotherly love in the city of brotherly love...

Mama and Daddy got to do a little relaxing too!

And I lost my shirt...literally! I had a rip that just kept ripping and so we just ripped it all the way and threw it away. That shirt had a nice, long life...

Next we headed to the Franklin Institute for the Marvel Exhibit!!! It was SO COOL!!

We got to see original comics, original characters, and amazing life sized figures of real life super hero's!!!

And even really cool masks and costumes from real movie sets! The stars of the movies and shows really wore these things and they're amazing!

It was a pretty awesome exhibit. We'll have to come back to the Franklin Institute for more exploring another time!

Then we were off to Ralph's world famous Italian restaurant. Ralph's is the oldest Italian restaurant in the United States! Daddy said there were many mafia deals done in here. It sure looked like it..

The food was amazing, we had mussels and real Ceaser salad chicken parmesan, ravioli and linguini with anchovies and garlic...

The bartender was a great pourer!

I chose to stick with the bread...like 2 loaves for myself!

And for dessert, the best tiramisu that we've ever tasted!! It was so good! And a sweet way to end our first day in Philly!
