I have gotten such good grades and Daddy and Mama say that I'm such a good kid that I got my very own hooky day!! We started for an early lunch at Taco Bamba in DC
Daddy and I checked out all the salsa's before our tacos came to make sure they were good and not too spicy!
Then we ordered lots of tasty taco's! Pork and the royale with cheese, shrimp and chicaron and fried chicken and a breakfast taco. They were so yummy! I am hooked on this place!
While we were inside the sun came out and warmed everything up. It was going to be an amazing day!
Then it was off to the National Portrait Gallery! I was so excited to check it out!
There were so many interesting things to check out. I was especially interested in all of the Civil War era exhibits, art work and items. So cool!
I also really loved all of the presidents. Especially George Washington and of course Obama!!
Daddy and Mama were really impressed with my knowledge of history and my ability to point out lots of historical figures. And I just had a really great time checking everything out!
The modern art section was pretty cool too! I liked checking out the sculptures and really cool art work!
And penguins of course!
It was an awesome visit to the Portrait Gallery! And an amazing hooky day!
After school Mama and Kai picked us up and we went to Sweet Frog for some fro yo! And we ran into our friends John and Matthew Bamford there, and their dog Mia. That was an extra treat!
Later Daddy went to the National's game with Uncle Freddy so we went to Nana and Papi's house to hang out and check out their new kitchen and dining room. It's really come a long way and it looks so nice!
Then we hit Tastee Diner for dinner and boy was it tasty!! We had so much fun with Nana and Papi. It was a perfect night!
