This morning we had a nice surprise when a friend brought over a home made almond tart and boy was it delicious!

Then we took in a few sites and beautiful Mardi Gras decorations on our way to the parade route. People know how to get in the spirit here in NoLa!
And so do we! Sparkles for EVERYONE! Even Sparkly mustaches!
It was a beautiful day and we got to hang out and toss the football around before the parades started!
We were all ready for Tucks, one of our favorite krewes! TUCKS!
And of course we had to get our "before" pictures of St. Charles before the parade rolled through and unleashed the toilet paper!
Always a good time for some bubbly!
Then the parade got rolling and it was on! So much fun on a bright, sunny day!

Even Daddy got in the spirit and let us put some sparkles on him!
We got tons of throws and beads and lots and lots of toilet paper!
I made some epic throws into the trees and power lines! It was awesome!
And the "after" pictures were a must as well!
We contributed to that madness and it was so much fun!
Then we all went back to our friends house for a bit. Had some food and libations. Played a bit of basketball and ping pong...
Then we headed across the way to another friend's house for a crawfish boil and boy were were excited!!

Look at that mountain of beauty! Everything smelled amazing and we couldn't wait to dig in! It was heavenly! Everything was delicious and we couldn't get enough!

Our kind of party! We love New Orleans!
The carnage was almost as pretty as the before picture. Yum Yum! It was a great day!
