Today after a very long time we FINALLY got to take a school field trip and we were all SO excited!
We got to ride on a super cool and comfy charter bus with AC, a movie and a bathroom.
The parent chaperones were very excited! Especially because we are headed to Historic St. Mary's City over 2 hours away from school!
It was a beautiful day outside. Sunny and clear and just a beautiful setting for a field trip!
We got to learn some great and interesting things about the area and our setters that came here.
But we also had tons of fun and enjoyed learning all of these fun facts!
And then...Mama's flip flop broke. 2+ hours away from home... with no way to fix it! It was a real mess!
And then one of our school resource teachers noticed that they had flip flops in the gift shop. Mama quickly went to buy a pair and the day was saved!!
We had an awesome lunch outside and then it was off to the rest of our outdoor tour of the area!
This guy was AWESOME! And Mama caught him right as he was giving a good MOoooooo!
We got to check out the pigs and other animals. It was so much fun out there!
Then we saw this crazy chicken with an afro! It was so cute!
We learned about herbs and crops - Tobacco was the cash crop of the day in the early times...
We had so much fun! It's been too long since we got to have a real field trip and we were ecstatic!
And we wouldn't mind bringing Daddy and our brothers back here. It was a fun place to explore! Until next time St. Mary's City!
