Today was a rainy, chilly, yucky day out. Needless to say, baseball was cancelled for Finn and I so we all got to take Kai to fencing! 

                               

It was cool to watch him and Conall in action!

                               

                               

                               

It was fun to have my whole family at fencing this week and afterward we got to go to the Woodside Deli in Rockville for lunch! We were so excited. It's been so long since we've had a Woodside fix!

   

And of course, some matzoh ball soup to share! And the pickle bar!!

                               

                              

On the way home we caught this red headed beauty in our neighbors yard eating something good under that stump!

                               

                              

Later I got to read Mama a whole book! I was really proud of myself for reading the whole thing! It was over 100 pages long! And mama loved it!

                                

                                

                                

Later we all got to watch the Kentucky Derby! It was an exciting one and we had fun cheering on the horses and what an exciting ending when a long shot horse came in to win first place!

                              

   

Then we decided to make this rainy, cold, cozy night into a family game night! Up first, Scrabble!

   

Then Card against maturity!

   

Then a little Taco, Cat, Pizza, etc...Mama doesn't remember all the words this game is called!

   

And then I put Jax's toy on my face and had Mama take a picture! It looked crazy!

                              

                              

We had tons of fun and made this rainy day a really good one!
