Today Mama picked us all up early from school to go take a tour of the Mormon Temple. As soon as Mama saw me she knew that something was up...I was not feeling good. So I went home to sleep while the others went along to the tour...
It was a beautiful afternoon and we were excited to take a peak inside the "castle"
It was so cool to see everything close up since we usually only see this place from the highway or at Christmas from afar when we look at the lights around the grounds.
Once we were inside we got to see some of the things you would never imagine from outside. Like these really cool panels of stained glass that you can't see from outside!
Lots and lots of stairs!
There were lots of little chapels and prayer rooms and dressing rooms. And some beautiful chandeliers but Mama started getting a little claustrophobic and freaked out that there were no windows to the outside anywhere. It was kind of strange. And all the ushers seemed kind of like robots...
We had fun but we had more fun when we got outside to the fresh air and daylight!
You can't tell from outside but this was all of those beautiful stained glass windows that we saw inside!
The grounds were beautifully manicured and lots of really pretty flowers and trees and landscaping!
Then mama made us one of Finn's favorite meals...too bad Finn was down for the count and Mama gave him a test and after 2+ years we finally have our first positive Covid case in our house...
Poor Finn, he slept through his dinner and we hope he feels better soon!
