This morning we met MeMa and PopPop at Live Oak for brunch! It's the first time we've been to our Virginia cousin's restaurant so we were excited to check it out. And boy was it tasty!







                                     

We had a really nice meal and enjoyed spending time with MeMa and PopPop! They sure did treat us to a tasty breakfast. And it was fun.



                                     



On our way home we stopped off on the GW Parkway and took a look at the frozen river and the sights from afar! It was cool to check out, even if it was super chilly outside!







                                     

When we got home Daddy helped me make a monster truck arena. It was so much fun!

                                     

                                   

Then it was time for mama to prep our prime rib for our New Year's Eve dinner!

Then we all headed over the the Vallina's house for their New Year's In Spain party! We played with our friends and had some snacks and counted down the new year at 6pm - midnight Spain time! Then we did the traditional eating of the 12 grapes for luck in the new year! It was a really fun time hanging out with our friends.

                                      















When we got home our dinner was just about done! And boy did it look good! We couldn't wait to tear into it! We had prime rib, roasted potatoes, carrots, parsnips and onions, cheesy rice, spinach and creamed sherry mushrooms. Boy was everything tasty!!





After dinner we did some playing and running around. Then Jax and I hunkered down to watch a movie while Kai played some Nintendo Switch.

Poor little Finn fell fast asleep but I was hanging in with Daddy and Kai. We were playing some Nintendo Switch and waiting for midnight!

                                     

                                     

Then our poor Jax couldn't hang on so he crashed out. And Mama got our the good stuff for her and Daddy. We snuggled up in their bed to watch the ball drop. I made it to midnight!!

                                     





The last men standing! Happy New Year! Here's to a better 2018. Family, friends, health and wealth!

This morning our Nana and Papi and Auntie Nay Nay and Uncle Harvey came over for brunch. And to have another go at our Christmas celebrations. Since ours was such a bust we just want to extend it for as long as we can! Papi and I started by having a bumper cars battle...I WON!



                                     

Then Papi played some nerf weapons with us...Papi is just one of the boys!







Then Auntie Nay Nay played balloon balls with us. We played it like we were playing volleyball and trying not to let the ball hit the floor. It was so much fun! And we only broke two of Mama's things off the wall. But she wasn't mad. Things happen!










Then Mama went to the YMCA to sign Jax up for basketball and she checked out the renovated indoor pool. It doesn't look too much different but I can't wait to go with Jax so maybe we can swim while he plays ball!



Later we did a little playing outside but boy was it cold. We didn't last too long. When we came in Daddy made us all some hot coco! With lots of marshmallows!! Then we did some playing until it was time for Joseph to go home.



                                     

Then we had a little dinner before heading to bed. It was a great day!

Can you believe that these teeny, tiny little balls...

                                     

...turned into this over night?! They soaked up all the water and grew and grew! And they feel really cool to play with!

                                     

                                     

                                     

Today we hung around the house for a while. We played school, which is ironic because we don't want to go when it's time but we like to pretend we're at school when we're on Christmas vacation...

                                     

Later we went to Dave and Busters to meet up with our friends the Riley's and the Ramani-Smith's. We ran around and had a blast. We played games and had some snacks. It was a great way to spend a vacation day with some of our friends, and our brothers of course!

                                     

                                     





                                     



                                     



                                     



Then we ran to Snider's to get our New Year's Eve prime rib. We pretended to help Mama pick it out but really we just ran around and caused trouble...

                                     

                                     

Later we took a nice, warm bath, played together nicely in our room and then it was time to hit the hay!
