Today we hung around the house, trying to enjoy the last days of our holiday Stay-cation! We did some felt scenes, Daddy and Kai played Skylanders, Jax napped. We just had a nice day. Then Mama started to prepare our New Year's Eve feast!

                

               





Grandma and Granddaddy joined us for our special meal. The prime rib turned out perfectly and Daddy cleaned his plate! Grandma and Granddaddy brought a chocolaty dessert and it was SO GOOD!







                 

                 















                 

Then Miss Lara, Grammy and Pearl came over to count down to midnight with us. We had a sparkling cider toast, the adults had champagne, and then we partied down! It was past my bed time but I decided I wanted to stay up and dance! With my shirt off, of course. Then all my clothes came off. I was Baby New Year indeed! We had so much fun running around and we were so glad our friends and Grandparents were here to join us. 



















                 

                



I begged and begged Mama and Daddy to wake me up at midnight so that I could count down with them to the new year. I knew that our count down earlier was a fake one. Mama says I'm too smart! So, Daddy woke me up and Mama took a picture because she said she knew I wouldn't remember. And she was right!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

                

This morning we got up, had breakfast and then got ready and headed to Grandma and Granddaddy's house! We got to play with some of our new Christmas toys. Kai and Finn did some reusable sticker books and scratch art books. We ran around and played soccer and did some yoga. We had a super fun visit! On our way home Mama dropped Kai off at his best buddy Guyer's house. They had a awesome time playing together!





















               

                

This morning Mama went to take our car in for service. Then she found out that our mechanic is on vacation this week so she went to the grocery store instead. She sent me this picture of a fire truck. I thought it was SO COOL!



When Mama came home she made us all a good breakfast. Then we snuggled up and watched some shows. 

                

Later we worked on Lego's. Finn played with his kinetic sand. We did some art work. We did some dancing. Then Daddy took us outside to play with our friends. We took our snowballs out with us and had a big snowball fight with the big boys! Then we played some football. I scored 21 points for the Saints!!





                









                

                

                

                



After dinner Daddy let us all take a bubble bath with our new bubbles that Uncle Jon and Aunt Jen got us for Christmas. This was my very first bubble bath and boy was it bubbly!! There were bubbles everywhere. I couldn't get away from them! Mama said she forgot how annoying a bubble bath is (whatever that means). I have a feeling we might not be seeing those bubbles again for a while...After our early bath, my brothers and I got to snuggle up in our pj's and watch a little Max and Ruby with some popcorn. It was a great day at home!
