Today was the only day this week that wasn't going to be rainy or cold so our awesome parents took us out of school early so we could go take a peek at the cherry blossoms before they all go away!! 

 

And Kenwood did not disappoint! It was beautiful as usual as soon as we pulled in to the neighborhood!

                              

   

                              

We got all of our picnic gear and headed out to the main drag. And I did some cherry blossom tossing. All of those little petals make it look like it's snowing! We decided that this is what it must feel like to be in a snow globe!

                              

                              

                              

                              

Then we got down to picnicking! yummy yummy! Daddy and Mama packed us a great lunch!

                             

                               

                             

Then it was time to go exploring and adventuring in the creek!

                               

                            

It's so fun to play down by the water...and so what if I ended up completely submerged! That's what washing machines are for!

                             

                              

We had tons of fun and we made up our own games and made believe. We made it just in time because as we were wrapping up the wind started blowing and the rain started! It was the perfect amount of time to do what we love to do and see what we love to see! Until next year Kenwood cherry blossoms!

 

Tonight we got to go to the Wizard's game in DC because as safety patrols, Liam and I got free tickets. And then our brothers and parents were able to purchase discounted tickets to come with us so we decided to make it a night!  

                             

It was fun even just waiting in line to get into the arena!

                               

Our seats were realllly high up but I liked it! You can see everything from up here!

                             

                              

Even our buddy Albert joined us for a few minutes, then he went back to sit with his dad. And we saw our friends Maira and Colin Riley too!

                                

                               

   

   

Daddy got us all kinds of good junk food to snack on. My only complaint was there was no cotton candy! Apparently they got rid of it in the whole arena. Not cool Capital One...not cool!

                              

   

We had so much fun and I can't wait to go to another basketball game! It was a great experience!

                              

On our way out we got some ice cream because...well...why not!

                             

                               

Then we walked around and scoped out where the next Spiderman movie needs to be filmed. There were some creepy spots that would be perfect for night time fight scenes...

                              

And also just some cool architecture in our city and we enjoyed checking out~

Then we got to see our Capitol all lit up as we dropped Daddy off at his car. It was a great night!

                             

Today after school my friend Alexis got to come over for a play date! Daddy even blew up the bounce house for us! 

                             

                              

It was so much fun! I have been dying to use our bounce house for some time now and Daddy came through for us! I was so excited to participate!

                             

                              

                              

   

Then we got to have some pop tarts for snacks! It was a perfect way to spend a Monday night!

   

   

Then Daddy rolled Jax up like a little burrito when we were helping him put the bounce house away! It was funny and I couldn't help but take a picture!
