Today was a beautiful, Sunny New Year's Eve day at the beach! It was a little brisk but we had a great family walk on the beach! 

 

                                     

And I found a pumpkin in the surf!! It's a new year's pumpkin!

                                   

                                  

 

   

Later after doing some chillin and prepping, Mama put our prime rib in the oven and we headed out to happy hour at the Crab Bag! 

   

We had a seafood boil and hush puppies and French fries and oysters and a couple of crabs!

                                    

                                      

   

Everything was so yummy and it was so much fun! This might be our new tradition while we wait for our NYE roast to cook. Happy Hour at the Crab Bag!!

   

   

                                       

                                      

I even tried an oyster! It wasn't half bad. Not my favorite but I'm glad I tried it!

                                           

   

Then we got home and it was time to get the rest of our dinner ready. Mama got to work!

   

   

The roast looked amazing and the house smelled great! We couldn't wait to dig in!

                                          

 

   

   

Everything was so delicious and we had so much fun eating our traditional New Year's Eve dinner!

                                       

                                       

   

   

                                     

Then, at midnight the fireworks were off! They were so great this year!

                                     

   

   

   

We loved watching the show from our balcony in our Snuggies!  Today we had a chill morning at home and then I helped Mama make some mozzarella puffs. They were super tasty but we made them a little too garlic salty. We'll know for next time...

                                       

 

   

Then we all headed out to Berlin to meet up with some friends and walk around. We ran into Miss Angela and Mike first. We got to hang out at the coffee shop and go next door to Mandala to get some pies for later!

   

Then we met up with the Wards and the Collins's at the Sterling Tavern for the Oyster fest!

   

   

Boy were the oysters good! We got raw oyesters and Oysters Rockefeller and oyster stew and all kinds of goodies!

   

                                       

                                        

It was all so good. We really enjoyed it!

   

   

And it was fun seeing all our friends!

   

   

                                      

Later when we were ready for our taste test we got out the pie slices we got! Apple, raspberry cheesecake, banana cream and key lime!!!

   

I don't think we could pick a favorite. They were all so yummy!!
