This morning our buddy Guyer came over to play with us! We haven't seen him in a long time so it was fun for all of us to hang out.
Then Mama dropped me off in the Monsignor Stricker Room under the church for the First Communion Retreat. I was not very excited to be spending this beautiful, sunny Sunday afternoon stuck in the church...I was hoping it wouldn't be too bad and boring.
While poor Kai was stuck inside all day practicing for First Communion we had fun with our friends Mac and Audrey! We had a water balloon battle, we had lunch, we played inside and outside. We had a great afternoon!
Later, after the retreat was over, it was time to head to the Kuzner's house for a cook out with some friends. We had some yummy food and treats and we played with friends and ran around. It was such a fun evening. We had a blast! Then it was time to head home and get ready for the school week. Back to the grind tomorrow!

Today was Mama and Kai day! We went to look for a suit for my first communion. I found one right away that I really liked and so we got it! Mama said that I'm going to look super handsome in it!
After we found the suit so quickly we headed over to Color Me Mine to paint some pottery! I chose a sand castle. And then we found out that it's a light up castle so it will come with a light that plugs in and makes the beautiful castle light up! I'm so excited. Mama helped me paint and it's going to look amazing. I'm just sad that I have to wait a week to pick it up!
Then we stopped for a little chick fil a lunch!
Then it was off to the taylor to get the suit altered so it doesn't look like I'm wearing Daddy's suit!
When Kai got home our friends Liam and Joseph were here playing. We were happy to have Kai home to play with us!
Later Emmet and his Daddy joined us for a boys night while the Mama's went out to a Mom's night in the neighborhood! We had so much fun running around and playing and a little not so much fun when we were beating on each other...
Mama had a nice night with the St. B's moms too!

This morning was the Kindergarten Mass at St. Bernadette. All of the Kindergarten parents and families came to mass and then we had a reception afterward in the school hall. It was so much fun with some yummy goodies!
Then we received our awards. I got to award for Respect. Because I am a very respectful young man. I show others respect, I am loyal and honest and always do the right thing!
I got to hang with Daddy this morning and we had a fantastic lunch of steak and noodles left over from dinner the other night. It was so yummy!
Then we got to pick my brothers up early from school. They were preparing for the plant and flower sale at St. B's. All of the flowers looked beautiful out on the grass.
Then it was off to Annapolis for cousin Dave's retirement ceremony from the Naval Academy. Jax always counts on Safety First!
It was a beautiful, warm, sunny day and we were really excited to be on the Naval Academy's campus. It was so nice to see all of the amazing buildings and all of the officers and pleebs and other military personnel. And the inside of the buildings were even more amazing!
We got to check out what a cadet's bunk room looked like. That was pretty cool...
Then look at some of the important artifacts from wars and battles.
Then it was time for the ceremony. Cousin Dave spoke and Governor O'Malley spoke and another officer friend of cousin Dave's spoke. It was all very nice. Although some of us had a little trouble following along...
The room in Memorial Hall was amazing. Then we headed to another really great building to have a reception with some cake. On the way we got to check out some torpedoes and canons and other cool looking things!
Then we went to Dahlgren Hall to have some cake. It was such a cool spot. We thought it was an old aircraft hanger but it was really an old ice skating rink building!! But now that they have a new rink on campus this building is used for other things. It was really neat and fun to run around!
Then it was off to Bo and Dave's house! We got to check out the chicken. Boy do they have a lot of them!
Then we saw their extensive garden!
And then it was time to check out the pool! It was beautiful.
But FREEZING COLD!
It took a while but we all made our way in eventually. It was still cold but at least our cousins joined us.
Ana Sloan wanted to swim in the fountain!
We had so much fun running around with our cousins and eating and hanging out. It was a really fun night!
We can't wait to come swimming at cousin Bo and Dave's house this summer. We look like future Naval officers!!
