Today we had a low key morning and then we decided that we needed to be outside to enjoy another perfect weather day! Before we know it winter will be here so we need to take advantage of these beautiful days while we can! Daddy packed us up a picnic lunch and we headed to Sligo Creek!

                                    

                                     

Daddy and Mama got the blanket and chairs set up while my brothers and I headed down to the creek to play and splash around and explore and have some fun!

                                     

                                     





                                     



Then Auntie Nay Nay and Uncle Harvey came to join us and watch us run around like monkeys! They had fun enjoying some fresh air too!

                                     



                                      

                                     

Then we enjoyed our delicious picnic lunch that Daddy packed for us! It was such a great day and we had so much fun enjoying the creek and each other. We can't wait to go back to Sligo Creek to play again soon!



                                     

                                     



Later we went to the Pub to have some appetizers for dinner. We ran into lots of our neighborhood friends there. And we had a great end to our great weekend. 





                                      

This morning Mama went out with Nana and our Aunties for a birthday celebration breakfast. They got to celebrate Nana's birthday and Mama's birthday and it looks like they had lots of fun!



We got to enjoy this beautiful Saturday on the field watching Finn's soccer game. He did great and had an assist. And MeMa and PopPop came to see the game with us. We were so happy they were there!

                                     

When we got home we spent the rest of the day outside playing and soaking up all this glorious weather! It was sunny and perfectly warm and there was NO RAIN finally!!







                                      

                                    

                                     

Finally we decided we'd head to Pollo Mex for dinner. We had frozen lemonade and chips and salsa and queso and so many yummy things to eat...









Daddy and Mama said we're not the most engaging dinner guests. Kai was reading the comics, Finn was playing on Daddy's phone and I was pretending to fall asleep while eating queso so that maybe someone would agree to give me their phone...hint, hint!





We had a super fun and silly dinner and we had a great time together, as usual! It was a great way to spend a Saturday night!

Today Mama subbed in our school for Mr. Lee, the religion teacher. She taught the 6th and 8th graders so we didn't get to see her. And then before we knew it, it was time for Friday night on the field! And Miss Alyssa wanted everyone to know that it was Mama's birthday yesterday!




It was a beautiful evening and we all got to run wild with our friends. We had so much fun!




I got to have a practice then a game. I scored 2 goals!! Mama and Daddy said that I did great!





Then PopPop and MeMa came to see us at the field. We hung out in the shack a bit. Then MeMa made Finn try on Mama's princess crown. It was kind of funny! And it was a great Friday night!

                                     

                                     

This morning Mama was working for Mrs. Perry in the front office so Daddy got to take us to school again and we got to see Mama when we walked in!



Today was the first day of band practice for me. We learned how to blow in the mouth pieces of the trumpets. Mama said it sounded like we were stepping on ducks. Mama came to my class and saw me working on my Johnny Appleseed drawing. I was doing a really nice job!

                                     

And I saw Mama on my way back to class from the library!

                                     

After school me and my brothers got to come into the office with Mama. I pretended to answer the phones. Mama thought that was pretty funny!







Then MeMa and PopPop stopped by to see us. And MeMa told us that it was middle child day! SO Mema and Finn shared their special day with a hug!

                                     

                                     

Later Mama got a really special birthday present from Miss Alyssa and Michael. And she even shared with us! She got chocolate covered Oreo's. We were all really excited about that!!
