Today was the greatest day every because it was HALLOWEEN!!! In the morning Mommy took Finn and I to Harris Teeter with her then we came home and got to play on the front porch while Mommy raked the leaves and got our yard all cleaned up and ready to redecorate after Hurricane Sandy made such a big mess. After dinner it was time to get ready to go trick or treating with our friends.







Then it was time to get outside. Pearl was Ariel from the Little Mermaid and Aidan was Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates. Finn was a puppy and Rowan was a little pirate. Finny was hanging in there but Rowan was not too happy being out and about with us.





                 



We had so much fun trick or treating but Mommy didn't really account for the fact that I had to walk up and down steps with my robot costume on...it was a little difficult and Mommy was really helpful holding my hand and helping me up and down lots of steps. Pearl and I were ready to take the whole neighborhood. We went to lots of houses and really made it far. Then I tripped and fell into someone's front steps. I landed right on my face and it didn't feel good. Mommy and Daddy said I was so tough because I barely even cried. But I was ready to head home after that!





When we got home Daddy and Finn helped me check out all my loot. I got lots of good candy! I even got to eat a few pieces. I shared a little with Finn too! This is was the aftermath of my face and my costume after my big fall. All in all it was a great Halloween. I had so much fun with my friends and got lots and lots of candy. Hooray!!





                

               

Today was another rainy day but Mommy and Daddy are super happy because the wind finally stopped, the big storm seems to have spared us and we never lost our power. And that is a miracle! It sure did get cold out there too! In the morning Mommy and I got all bundled up and I got to wear my fireman rain coat and we headed to Pearl and Miss Lara's house to play. We had lots of fun!

               



Later for dinner we got to go to Ollazzo to celebrate Papi's Birthday!! It was so much fun. Our Nana and Auntie's were there and Great Uncle William and Freddy and Kevin and Great Aunt Rosa. It was a real party! Kai and I ate lots of yummy Italian food and we even got to eat some canolli and tiramisu for dessert! Yum, Yum! And I got to hang out with my favorite Papi! It sure was a great day.

               

Today we all had to hunker down and get ready for the big storm that is heading our way. It sure was rainy and windy and chilly. We were only a few hours in and we were already getting a little stir crazy. We're glad that Papi came to visit us in the morning. He played with us for a little while and it was fun to have a visitor! Then I read a book to Finn and Lucy. Then Mommy and Daddy let us play for a little while on the front porch because the storm hadn't gotten too bad yet...

                 

                





Kai and I both took really good naps. There wasn't a whole lot else to do. After nap time we had a super yummy dinner. Then we were back to our sequester. I got so bored I decided to join Daddy in drinking some beer...We sure hope this storm doesn't last too long and doesn't take our electricity with it!

               

Today Mommy and I carved my jack o lantern! I was so excited and I was a big help. I wanted my pumpkin to be angrryyy!! I think we did a good job with him.







When I woke up from my nap Mommy and Kai had finished he pumpkin carving and I needed to check it out for myself. It was pretty cool! I especially liked sticking my hand in the jack o lanterns mouth. It's kind of slimy in there!



For dinner we got to go to MeMaw and PopPop's house. Aunt Carol and Uncle Jay were there and they brought us some cool Halloween treats!! We had so much fun playing with MeMaw and PopPop. We even got to take a bath there and then after bath time PopPop and I had a little ho down with the Thanksgiving Turkey. It sure was a fun dance!





                

Today was a super fun day! In the morning we started out with excitement when a transformer blew in our neighborhood and our power went out. Kai and I thought it was fun but Mommy wasn't so thrilled with cooking our breakfast by candle light...Then we headed to Montpelier Farm for our friend Catherine's 3rd Birthday party!!!









It was so cool there. They had animals like rabbits and alpacas and horses and goats. They had little hay mazes for the little one's and big corn mazes for the big kids. They had a really fun slide that Mommy took me on and Daddy took Finn on. They even had a little market where I got to have an apple cider donut! I love donuts.











We got to play in a corn pen and play with our friends. We also got to eat pizza and fruit, sing happy birthday and eat yummy cupcakes. It sure was a fun day. It was so much fun that I fell asleep before we even left the parking lot to head home.









After dinner our Auntie Rita came over to play with us. She ran around and chased us and she even watched music on the iPad with me. We sure do love when Auntie Rita comes to visit us!!

This morning Mommy took us to the Audubon Naturalist Society in Chevy Chase to meet our friends Miss Lauren, Leighton and Elise. It was a cloudy day but it was perfect and warm. We got to play on the play equipment, we ran around, we played in the sand box and then we had a nice picnic lunch! Then we headed out for a little nature walk! Leighton showed us where the pond was. We looked for frogs but we didn't find any. We went exploring on the trails and we even saw a mama and two baby deer right in front of us! It was so cool and so much fun that we didn't want to leave. We can't wait to go back with Daddy so we can go on adventures and nature walks in the woods with him!















After nap time we played pillows and hung out in Mommy and Daddy's room. Then we went to check out the new restaurant in our neighborhood called Red Maple. It was super yummy. We had sushi. My brother Kai sure does love sushi, so does Mommy and Daddy. And I had some too and it wasn't too shabby! I also had rice and vegetables and everything was quite tasty. We had such a fun, family night out!
