Well, it's Thursday and we FINALLY are all healthy and back to school...we'll see how long this lasts...

                                       

Well, it only lasted one day because it's Friday, a half day and we're home eating lunch because today Kai stayed home sick from school. He didn't have it as bad as Jax and I but he just wasn't feeling good this morning so he got a day of rest too!




                                       

Later I felt better and got to get up and test out my mini chocolate lava cakes that I plan to make for the kids baking contest at my school tomorrow. I'm trying chocolate, peanut butter and nutella....

                                       

                                        

                                       

So once they came out of the instant pot we discovered that the peanut butter ones completely exploded so they're out! The nutella ones were delicious but the winners are the classic chocolate ones and that's what I'll use in my entry for the judges!

Well, I spent the day at home today with Mama because I've had a fever and just didn't feel good. But I really wanted McDonald's for lunch so Mama took me there because she was just happy that I wanted to eat! I hope I get to go to school tomorrow to be student of the week!

                                       


Well, Tuesday came and with it I had a fever along with Jax! We're not feeling so great so now we're both home with Mama. We did electronics and relaxing and reading and staying hydrated and Mama took good cared of us but we just couldn't shake that fever on and off all day!

                                       

This morning I worked on my "all About Me" poster because I will be the student of the week at school this week. I get to tell all about me, I get to bring in a special show and tell item and I get to read a book out loud to my class and parents. I can't wait to be the Star Student!



Mama and I had our pottery class today and we got our beautifully glazed items  back! Our chalice and guacamole bowls looked amazing and we're so happy to take them home and work on our next pieces. We are having so much fun making pottery!

                                       

                                       

                                       

I really liked Kai and Mama's creations too! I really enjoy drinking my water from a chalice!

                                       

Later we went to Nana and Papi's house to make some empanadas and lumpia to celebrate Auntie Tori's birthday! Everything was so yummy!

                                        





And we got to run around and hang out with our cousins and family! It was a fun Sunday night!

                                        

                                        

Happy Birthday Auntie Tori!! We all got to help blow out the candles. That was fun too! And eating dessert. Today Jax and I both had basketball. Nothing big to report. Just another basketball Saturday...



Then I got to go to my buddy Jack's birthday party at the Little Gym! It was so much fun. We got to run and jump and have a blast with all of our classmates!!

                                       

                                       

                                       

                                        

                                       

Later we went out for fantastic burgers for dinner at Cole Fire in Fulton! Everything was super yummy. It was a great night just hanging with our family!

This morning Daddy made us the most unhealthy but awfully fun breakfast...yes, that's a mini ice cream cone on my plate!

                                       

Then Mama left Daddy and Papi under the car putting the tow hitch on the car when she came to see us for Pizza Lunch at school. And Daddy and Papi were so quick that Daddy even made it to join us for the second lunch!

                                        

                                       

Then Daddy and Mama went to have ramen soup for lunch. They said it was spicy and delicious!

                                        

Later Mama had lots and lots of girlfriends over so that they could go to the 80's dance party at the Filmore. We got to hang out upstairs and play. And occasionally come downstairs to snag some goodies like pigs in a blanket and mini chocolate eclairs!

                                       









It looks like Mama and all her friends had a really good time! We're pretty sure they did!

Tonight after school we got to meet Daddy downtown at the DC Auto Show preview! We had some yummy dinner and drinks and then it was time to check everything out!

                                        

                                       

We were so lucky because Finn and I got to go with Daddy on a ride in the new Jaguar electric cars! Jax wasn't old enough but he was fine with it. They were SO cool and SOOOO fast! It was amazing.





                                       

Then we got to check out all of the amazing old and new cars!

We were really impressed with the exotic cars! They had hummers and sports cars and motorcycles and dune buggies...it was pretty cool!

It was a super fun night checking out all the cars! Until next year Auto Show...

                                        

And more blooms on our orchid plant!! Very impressive. This is all Grandma because Mama's black thumb had nothing to do with this!
