We spent the day doing laundry and getting all of our toys and things ready to pack for our beach trip.  Then we headed to MeMa and PopPop's house for dinner. It was so nice of them to cook for us so we didn't have to cook before we went to the beach.





Dinner was delicious and then we had some yummy ice cream for dessert!

                                     

                                     

                                     



We ran around the house and played and we swung on the hammock. It was a great night at MeMa and PopPop's house. We sure are going to miss them while we're at the beach!



                                     

                                     

                                     

When we got home we hunkered down in Daddy and Mama's bed and watched Home Alone 2 before going to bed. We're so excited to go to the beach, I'm not sure we'll sleep tonight!

This morning I woke up super early, like 5am. And then I fell back asleep in the chair in Daddy and Mama's room. This is how Mama found me in the morning...

                                      

Later we all took a family trip to Costco to get some necessities and some goodies for our trip to the beach on Sunday! They sure have lots of good things to look at in that store!

                                     

                                      

We even waited in line to get a few free samples...until some greedy old man tried to bully us out of our sample...Mama almost knocked him out, then she just lectured us about how we don't need samples that badly to be rude and treat people poorly. We decided to only get samples where there were no other people from there on out. Some people are really silly...and rude for being an adult!

                                     

Then we got to have some yummy cheese pizza for lunch. It was super tasty!



                                     



Then we made a stop at MeMa and PopPop's house to bring them over some dinner. It was too hot today for anyone to be doing any cooking!

                                     

                                     

                                     

Then it was off to the pool for an evening of swimming! It was still so hot and humid and the water was perfect! What a great way to spend a summer evening!

                                     

                                    

                                     



Then our buddies Liam and Emmet joined us, and their cousins Kate and Cormack from Ireland too. We had so much fun splashing around and eating dinner and having a great summer night at the pool. We stayed until after 9pm and we even got to swim in the pool while the lights were on. Our favorite!!!

                                     

                                     



                                     

We had a pretty relaxed morning. We slept in and had a late breakfast. Mama and I watched Big Brother and then my brothers and I played and ran around. Then we decided to head to Sligo Creek to do some playing and exploring!

                                     



It was super hot outside so we got our water shoes on and our toys ready and we hit the rocks! It was so peaceful and beautiful under the canopy of trees with the nice breeze that was blowing. It was the perfect day to dip our toes in the water and play!



                                      

                                     

We started off by doing some exploring to see what was up and down stream. We spied some little fish and lots of cool rocks, sticks and sea glass. It was fun checking everything out.

                                     

                                     





                                      

                                      

I brought my army guys and was able to set up little battles on the dry rocks like they were on islands. It was super cool!

                                     

                                     



                                    

Jax and I started our own little castle in the middle of the creek and then we started on our own dam right in our own small spot of sun!

                                     





Then our buddy Hideki joined us! It was so fun to hang out with our friend. Then we worked on a dam and cool fortress type area for our figurines. It was so awesome that Mama had to take a picture. We really used our imagination and some serious manual labor to get all of the rocks and sticks in place. And it was so much fun!

                                     

Then Daddy came to join us! We were so excited to share our adventure with Daddy!
     
                                     



We were supposed to go to the pool this evening but we just had too much fun at the creek that we didn't want to leave. So instead we came home to have dinner and play! Kai and I played some Stratego and Jax and I did some playing outside. It was a great way to spend the evening.



Then we all had our hair cut and watched some Big Brother with Mama before it was time to head to bed. It was a great summer day!
