Today we had a half day of school and so we had the 5th and 6th grade cosmic bowling outing! 

Since White Oak isn't open yet we had the bowling party at the University Of Maryland bowling lanes in the Stamp Student Union. Mama spend lots of time in the union. There was no bowling alley or lots of restaurants back in the day but it was fun to see all the changes.

                                     

It was really cool that we had the place to ourselves. We had pool tables and air hockey tables and bowling and gaming stations. It was so cool and so much fun!

                                      

                                      

                                      

                                        

It was awesome that so many of my classmates came and it was an awesome way to spend a half day!

Then it was time for the 3rd and 4th grade Sock Hop! We went to my buddy Tobias's house so we could get ready for the dance!

                                      

                                      

                                      

We were looking sharp for the dance!

                                      

                                      

When we got to the dance we took some pictures with all our friends!

                                       

Then we ran around and did some dancing and socking and hopping!

And we got to eat some pizza!

                                      

Then the girls arrived with their shrieking and running!

                                        

                                       

We had lots of fun playing games and dancing and laughing!

And then it was time for milk shakes!! They were so yummy!

                                      

It was a super fun night! And a great start to the weekend!

Then Mama headed to the beach for her beach book club meeting and she got to check out the awesome job Papi did putting the lights up at the beach condo.  

                                       

They look so cool. We can't wait to see them in person next time we go!

Before Mama headed home she checked out the beach and saw that they're redoing the dune fencing. It looked bran new last year so we're surprised that they redo it every year. It's gonna look fresh and new and ready for the season to start!

                                     

                                       

And then Mama made a stop at Casita Linda to get her favorite Horchata Latte for the ride home and a delicious chorizo quesadilla that she brought home to share with Daddy! We can't wait to get back to the beach!

                                      

                                       

This morning we got to sleep in a bit and then it was time for our annual cherry blossom hooky day! We started with breakfast at Khaldi's in down town Silver Spring! 

And it sure didn't disappoint! I got the waffles and they were amazing!

And everyone else got breakfast sandwiches and they were so dang good!! The potatoes were pretty fantastic too!

                                      

Then it was off to Kentwood and our annual play day at the cherry blossoms!

                                      

It was a gorgeous day. It was sunny and warm but not hot with no rain on the horizon. It was a perfect day!

                                      

And of course it was off to play in our favorite little creek!

                                      

                                       

                                       

And the cherry blossoms were at their peak and just looking so fantastic and beautiful!

                                     

                                       

                                      

                                     

We had such a fun time and Mama was happy because she got some great pictures, and we all know that Mama loves getting good photos of us...

                                      

                                     

                                     

It was such a perfect weather day and we were so happy to get another great year of our family cherry blossom skip day. The only thing missing was Daddy but we'll make up for it with great adventures together when we get to Key West next week!

                                      

                                      

We even saw lots of people out painting the scene. It was cool to see all of the different perspectives!

                                       

                                       

                                      

                                       

And I laid down and took these cool shots of the sky through the cherry blossoms. Mama was impressed!
